RE: A snoop around the Park

Anyone else noticed the little pattern with this new Manager? He's obssesed with painting! When he first took over he was mentioning about painting everywhere, and its happening again this year!

In a way its good, because the rides wont look so run down, but in another way its bad because the colours are so harsh and bright, it can ruin things, such as the classic Annie Oakley Railway!

Thanks for the update Reece. I'd guess they're doing some serious work to the train if its still stuck in the same place.

Interesting. I'm intrigued about the laser attraction being under the castle. It seems a bid of an odd place to put it. Well only a month to go until the park opens and we can see what's going down.

Reece, did you notice if there were any other trains on the track?

I like them, more theme park-ish if you get my meaning. Old:

the old ones were rather tacky and these new ones are rather original.

I actually really like that! The older ones were nice, but they looked more like a fair ground ride, this is a big improvement. Now burn down the Dodgems!lol

Oh, and Andy, how did you get that pic?

I really like the new Balloon Rays re-theme. Makes it much more suited to the park now. I think the dodgems really need to go too. What could you possibly re-theme as?

They seem to have removed the plain pannels that used to be on the Balloon ride. Look at the pics Josh posted, they used to be green, now its just that 'scaffolding' type look which is pretty ugly and makes the ride look very old IMO.

And they should move these to opposite Wipeout, give the kids something to do in that area.

things that i noticed today ( 24/03/11)

hello all, i had a day off today from school, and so decided to visit pwh, there were quite a few cars on the car park and a lot of lorry's and vans going backwards and forward. some more things noticed were: there were still horses missing from the carrousel
wipeout was running - presumably being tested
unfortunately the clown slide is still there ( looks like that won't be going) and SITG's tunnel was still in its horrible state, but the train is on it's track, and i couldn't see much of enigma
