So who is actually going to the big event tomorrow? Myself, my wife and her little brother are heading there first thing. Can't wait to see all the new stuff for myself, feels like ages since my last visit.

Ok we can meet then and view the official opening of the pit. Is everyone up for that? You'll recognise me; I'll be the overweight 30 year old with a massive grin omyriad face! Plus you've met me before so...well Matt and Hobo have. smile

I guess it's a good job you've all been down the pit, with only a lucky 1000 being able to get in there will be a lot of disappointed faces.

Still don't know if i'm going,  but if I do you'll soon spot me.. I look like the puppet in my avatar.

I might be up for going and meeting up - is it still 12:15pm inside/outside hobs pit shop?

do buses run from Norwich City Centre to PWH area on a Sunday though?

I don't know anything about bus timetables.. not been on a bus for 10 years. lol

Yeah, about 5.50 seems to be the last bus.
If park is closed about 5 then you should be able to catch the bus back, or take the earlier one.

To give you the heads up guys - due to the sheer volume of people we're expecting Hobs Pit will be open from 10am. The queue line will be split from 12:15pm so we can do the official 'cutting of the ribbon' at 12:30pm for TV/Press etc. The ride won't close at this time and people won;t lose their place in the queue, it's just so we can get the 'official' stuff done :)

The puppet itself will be in my car as always, might carry it round it hasn't had any fresh air for awhile.
Will he be allowed on the ride I wonder??? (although one of his hands are broken)

Anyway, my brother will certainly be there tomorrow, he might be in a Dalek.

Sadly I'm not going today, but I hope you enjoy the Birthday celebrations. If there's cake, save me some. ;)

Steve Ace was the creator and owner of Monty The Dog. Sadly Steve passed away over a year ago. He gave so much to Pleasurewood Hills in the 90's. Fantastic parades, shows and walking about with characters entertaining the queue's. There are so many simple thing that can be brought back today.

He would have loved to have been back working there today I'm sure with Woody, Clarence and Ronnie.
