RE: 30 years of Pleasurewood Hills: 2013

And you're doing a grand job Ben! (and it appears that everyone else involved with the park is too!)

All the time and effort you put into coming on here is greatly appreciated!

That's why I'm here Matt. I want to let you in to 'secret stuff' but it needs to be controlled and within reason. I'm excited about what we can achieve within a short amount of time. Just small fixes - We're not talking big coasters or attractions; I'm talking about putting that 'heart' back into the place. That's out aim throughout this season. :)

Great to hear, and it obviously needs to be controlled or else what would be the point we'd know everything within a week, but I hope this year will be a great year for the park!

It actually gets confusing between what was a map and brochure or leaflet and map or any other combination lol

Just a quick update about the above... Maps and leaflets have now been divided into two new sections within the "Pleasurewood at 30" section of the site. This should make browsing through everything a little easier.

Great work Matt :)

Memory boards will be up for next weekend - These have been placed on the grass verge in-between the new flags. :)

^ As you enter the park?

Also, is that Woody figure being placed there? (the park map seems to suggest so)

Correct.

Woody was going to go there, but that idea has been pulled. :)

Shame... is there a better plan for him?

I'm sure you already know this, but something in the entrance area would look good, as it's a bit bare at the mo.

You know the Woody figure? I think the park should build a giant one and place it at the end of the drive on Leisure Way and you have to drive through Woody's legs as you enter the park; powerful! ;)

There's maybe something else that's going to go there instead? Perhaps you could shed some more light Ben?

Cool....

Here is the Lowestoft Journal piece The description under the large main street photo suggests that it w as a fancy dress woody bear and they need help to identify if that really was the first woody bear... ( he still looks like lightwater valleys woody from the mid 90s )

Plus the same full page colour spread in the journal like the advertiser

blobby had crossed my mind but he was not a true original pwh and it was all washed away quickly except for the castle which remained crinkley colours for a couple of years.

Not sure blobby would work

Monty the dog - where did he go ?

Meet Monty the Dog... Coolskin, I'm sorry I ever doubted you!

It appears that during the mid 1990's there was a character used in the shows at the park who went by that name!

Every second person pays £2.50   Unless your 30 years of age, you in for free.
Or the odd number in the party gets a reduced rate of £13 or something like that.

So for four of you...

#1 £19
#2 £2.50
#3 £19
#4 £2.50

Total: £43

Though as Bubbles said, if someone in the party is 30 - they're free I think.
