Alexis agrees with me that although we can add every ride under the sun, to get PWH back to how people remember will be a start to bring back the time fillers. Time fillers being small attractions that promote good old fashioned family fun at no real extra cost.

The satellite's will need to be re-made from scratch. Not a massive job, but when so much else needs to be done, it's not a priority. Although, I'm going to try an get this one pushed.

On a separate note, In the recent trip report it wasn't mentioned that the station opposite Fireball is receiving attention. The bushes have been totally cut back and the full platform can be now seen, which has been repaired.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures. I emailled Matt a lot of your missing maps and leaflets today, so they should be coming online shortly.

Cant believe that the entrance has stayed completely the same for so long!

Would it be too much for PWH to get them beauties back?! :)

I am SO trying to bring the satellites back. I had a meeting with Alexis today regarding them. It's my personal mission to do so! :)

Awesome photos, that comic thing is hilarious bad.
And not sure what the fuss is regarding the satellites but bring them back certainly.
More little bits and bobs around the park the better I say.

That would be brilliant to have them back. Does the park still have them?

The little filler attractions are paramount. They just act as a little extra to the day and its a shame that a lot if them were removed;

kids indoor play area
Drop slide
Mini golf
Voice dishes
That air gun shoots thing

I'm sure there's more.

Agreed about the filler attractions, little extra things for kids to discover.
As I kid I loved the mini fair ground :D

Would be good to see that awful arcade opposite Hobs turned into an indoor play area for kids.

And like I mentioned a while back, one of these little mini-water parks would be ideal in the kiddy zone:

Yep, i've just had a look through and it's an excellent collection of new content for the Maps and Leaflet page (thanks Ben!). I'll post a message on her later this week once I get it all online.

Yes that water park thing is a great idea, sort of thing that would get people coming back, Kids could spend most of the day playing around on that.. lol it's like a mini swimming pool :D

Maybe a swimming pool at PWH wouldn't be a bad idea? there isn't a decent on in Lowestoft, and they could keep it open all year.
Ok.. I'm been too adventurous with my ideas.

Plus, a possible income all year round.
People could just come for the pool or buy a full ticket... or something. lol

I've often thought an indoor fun pool would be ideal for the Rattlesnake area, with a smaller out door section for the summer. Could open all year round and out of hours too, without effecting the ride too much. I think you'd stand a chance of getting a decent income from it TBH.

You know where that water park thing would be ideal? In front of wave breaker just across the train tracks. Perfect place for it.

Think the team at PWH should let us be in control of their money... we know what the public want ;)

Don't worry, it's still there! In an effort to get visitors to explore all the bits of Pleasurewood history on offer, that page has been moved into the 'Pleasurewood at 30' section.
