Your Pleasurewood

A bit random but not much is going on now so just like to see what other people would do if you were the manager and had no planning or money problems.

Well i think i would try and be creative with what they already have.

I would take the snake in the grass, dig a big hole and stick it in it, cover it over and have a dark coaster, link it to something local and give it some decent theming, maybe a pre show of some kind.

I think the idea to re-vamp the forestry is a good idea.

The forest is crying out to be used for a good family Woodie so that a must - a small one, not massive but make use of the natural back drop.

The big area where the circus normally goes needs using - i would be tempted to fill it with typical fairground stuff - old fashioned coconut shy, ghosthouse, funhouse, cakewalk, dodgems etc. This would create a lot of atmosphere and could be billed as a vintage fair area.

I think these are all realistic ideas - ok maybe not the woodie or snake but i think they would improve the place and up the stakes!

anyone else want to challenge my ideas ?

Nice ideas, but I think a Woodie right by people's back gardens may become a bit of a stumbling block!lol

I'd really like to see the Space Shot from Loudoun Castle where Fireball currently is. And remove Enigma and Thunderstruck, and use that corner for a EuroFighter.

Look what LWV have done with Raptor Attack - AKA the Rat ride.

It must have cost alot of money to retheme and refurbish the ride but it's a massive success and Enigma or Snake have the same potential.

I would remove Thunderstruck and replace it with a Drop Tower like Detonator at Thorpe. I would re-theme enigma by making it indoors and themeing it to a disco. I will post the rest later when I have more time :)

Ok slightly random and completely unfeeseable but i think it would be awsome if they opened on the saterday closest to The chinese new year from around 2pm to 8pm and they did a chinese theme. They could open the park from the entrace down to sitg. they could open the four rides in that area. Theme the new nature trail with a temporary oriental theme get a dragons head put it on the front of sitg and call it the red dragon. put a chinese acrobat karate show in the castle and then finally do something like in halloween with fireworks in the lake and they could let those lantern things from the HSBC advert go of the top of wipeout.

You're right Alex, that was very, very random indeed!

A reshuffle of the rides is whats need IMO, with a couple of new additions.

Move Fireball to behind Wipeout, where Hungry Bears used to be, and place a S&S Space Shot in its current place.

Move the Carousel and Wavswinger to opposite Wipeout. Waveswingers spot can then be taken up with medium sized travelling coaster, such Whirlwind from Camelot, and the Carousels old home can be turned into something like an entrance feature, such as a fountain etc, or even a guest services desk.

If I were HIG, they would be the things that I'd be rushin to get done in time for summer.
