Ok so went today and the Fireball is running great! Just thought i'd say when you go on Marble Madness you can see the old Fireball sign in reconstruction area.
I can't be 100% as was dark yet I think it may have moved from hungry bears....last week on my evening run I could see the white frame I couldn't tonight...as I said not fully sure will check Saturday I expect
I will aim to get there tomo morning..my bet if it has moved then it has replaced TTT and its been scrapped and whatever is new in these pictures replaces it?
Oh right, I assumed they bought it second hand! mainly because its a travelling version and also due to the fact that it isn't as healthy as it should be from an operational aspect! Would be lovely to see it get some decent maintenance and servicing done to it! I spoke to an ex employee recently, who worked there for several years and he was telling me about the various issues regarding Fireball! It used to be really good!
It did still run on good cycles last year, particularly when the park was quiet. I'd even go as far as saying it was as good vortex at times but the experiences where very varied. It has defiantly got worse over the years though.
I've heard ride ops telling people that the ride managers are the ones that set the cycles and that they have to balance the intensity to stop people getting ill.
It seemed very good last year, Long cycle but there were issues with the harnesses not locking therefore could not be used, and as usual larger people couldn't fit so were told they can't ride much to their dismay!
As a ride operator, I understand the bain of balancing a ride... :/
The balance / weight issue would have never occurred to me in any ride in fact, trying to get it eventually on something like Fireball must be a real pain.

It's reasonably easy, Not an exact science you just have to literally "weigh up" people in your head, and get them sat opposite eachother. Make it roughly equal on each side, Ie two children are equal to one adult etc...
It can throw you though, when you get a seemingly "normal" adult... Who seems to weigh about 20 tonne. And your ride doesn't work correctly as you've not balanced it properly... Guess how I learnt that one!
