I thought it was going on the old hungry bears site? It might look a bit crammed in being in that small space right next to wipeout (they should have balanced it out with a family ride in there to be honest)

It is going in the hungry bears site.
Might have looked better next to TTT, however.

Ahh I see now, I didn't look properly before. And the toilets look nice that colour, same as the entrance. All looks neat tidy, MUCH better than the green, yellow and red mish mash.

Yes, it's going to be a vast improvement at that end of the park! I can't wait to see how it all turns out.

Sorry to disappoint coolskin but I think that part left behind will be needed. Looks like the base of the ride to me (note the red cross beam that holds it up right)

Yes I know what you mean but we have been refering to the blue panels that use to house the themeing... surely they are not needed

Fireball will be placed on the Hungry Bears Pad for this season only, with it being moved Winter 2014/15 to the area behind the Emporium more permanently. ;)

I think it used to have the adventure playground there before you get to Wipeout. Opposite Parrot Ices. :)

oh right - it will look a bit sqaushed in there and the views will not be so good when up in the air - lets hope something else will go onto hungry bears site then this time next year - it is so good to know it is being used this year

Ahh, I was thinking of the Palladium!

I echo coolskins thoughts, I dont think it will look good in there. Too squashed. Why on earth cant it stay where it now is, it's perfect for that little spot.

That's what I thought however looking at photos it's quite a big area. And can I infer a TTT style makeover and permanence from your wink Ben?

Does sounds a bit locked out of sight there, wouldn't it be better next to TTT?
This might also suggest something else on Bears site next year?

Maybe it should be plonked on the new site this season, as a test before being made permanent?

What I am saying is one of the great things about these rides when they are at full height ( cough cough ) they give great views - who wants to look at the green emporium roof and the mess underneath wipeout ??!!!

It will look too squashed in especially with the train station right behind it - it needs an open space - like where it was but even better the hungry bears pad

Maybe there are other plans afoot for hungry bears site. Imagine next year have 4 big rides all next to each other, will look great and have a great atmos.

Another flat on hungry bears would be good - but not next to emporium

With the money they've spent on TTT, and are going to on Fireball, its makes me wonder if its actually worth it. PWH has had Fireball for 12 seasons this year, so why spend a load of money on it next year? Spent that on something new altogether maybe?

Dunno how much life fireball has left in it. Maybe it will get back into full swing not they've pulled it down an built it again, but I reckon it's been altered to appeal to 'family'

If they're gonna stick it behind wipeout they may as well do it this year and see it if 'works' I personal think it's the wrong spot.
If only they had got cracking prior to Christmas, might have had this done for this year.

think we are getting lost with fireballs age here at the park - it is now in its 10th season.

May 2014 marks its tenth season

Note the newspaper cutting mentions Frisbee which was rented for 2003

To me I don't think the age matters as it is a decent ride. I'd like to see it stripped of its fairground attributes and made to look like a theme park model.

If it opened in 2004, this year will be it's 11th season.
