You may think this is harsh, but I dont think this Alexis really knows about, or has much experience with running a theme park. I'm really not happy with the direction the park is going with him in charge;

SNIG's tunnel has been destroyed, and left looking stupid.

Going round painting things in crazy colours. The Large train is a good example of this.

Nature Trail as a new attraction...

Some Laser thing as a new attraction...

All of these are very strange moves that I'm not entirely happy with. There you go, I've said it! **hides under table**

Fair comment, i reckon.

Although, i think the tunnel on SITG was started by the previous manager?

I like the way its quoted in the press about these new attractions following take-over, they were already in the pipeline!

I dont think that matters really, its still been left like it all season. And god forbid if its still like it this year....

Anywho, Alexis did take charge before the park opened in 2010, so I think he was in charge when it was ruined?

I agree with Martyn. all we've had is some small scale investments on stupid things e.g. the new playground which i think looks worse than the old one. and that was 55K. add that to the 65 for the laser and you could have a small secound hand ride(which could be advertised a lot better than a new playground and laser tag!!!

Ok well thats my opinion.

Ooo, thanks for that Alex, the crappy cheap looking playground, I forgot to add that to my list. (Though I feel I should wait to see that in person first, as its looks like they've extended the play area with it).

Its a shame that we have all these little changes, yet never any photo's to see them!lol

I just found a park version of an inverter ship for 190,000 dollars!!! http://www.italintl.com/detail_page.php?record_id=1404. that would be a lot more popular then the playground and laser tag!!!!!

it would be cheaper and better to fix enigma rather than buy a new one.

That looks like an awful coaster! It's also over thirty years old! Couldn't think of anything worse than the sight of one of them old Pinfarri's at Pleasurewood - no matter how much it is need of a new ride. They're an eyesore.

I wouldn't mind betting that Enigma would be quite expensive to fix too. It's a one and only design. Though, saying that, Gerstlauer took over the Schwarzkopf factory when it liquidated years ago. They could easily design/implement a new train or two.

In this new period, I'd like to see Enigma get the overhaul it deserves. Perhaps even a relocation if a suitable, deserving replacement coaster/water ride/flat could replace it.

Put enigma or rattlesnake in a building, black it out - add some lighting effects. You've got yourself a decent blackhole/dark coaster!

I've always seen Engima as the "M&S" of the Pinfari clones. Its very similar, but much, much better.

I've completely given up on looking at them ride sale sites, there is just so many rides that would be fab for Pleasurewood, it just keeps breaking my heart!

I hope the new owners will sort out SITG's Tunnel I would rather no tunnel then what we have at the moment. Also i think a bit of name changing is needed I want Rattlesnake back and seriously Merry-go-straight. It would be pretty cool if they even had a competion to name a ride it would bring publicity to the park and they would have a neew ride name.

If SNIG's tunnel is still in the same state come the 2011 opening, then I will seriously worry!lol

Taken from their FB:

The new management team are looking forward to a busy summer season with lots of exciting things happening all around the park.

Does this mean that the new-ish manager, Alexis, has gone?

Interesting point. Who knows? He was a Frenchman wasn't he and may not have been the first choice for the new owners. Could be why SITG grass was left half done?
