I just spent the time to watch the video in full :( My god the park really did look amazing back then, no wonder I loved the place so much as a child!

And I can honestly say, seeing that dragon in Alladins Cave genuinely put a shiver down my spine! I used to be so frightened of that!

And AS IF the Dodgems have been there since at least 1996.... they are WELL past their 'use by' date...

the dodgems are still a good attraction i would rather have them there instead of nothing but an empty space

They are awful, in EVERY possible way. I could think of a thousand better attractions that could sit there; Ferris Wheel, Star Flyer, Observation Tower and a Topscan to name but a few.

At last they are loaded....  so we have photos from Eye In The Sky which were taken in May 1995....  Does anyone know where it went after it's short life at the park ?

Noel Edmonds and Mr Blobby travelling through the train gates just before what was then the bacon kiosk.... In the background the Enterprise is comeing down from it's full point...  We also have a photo of the then CBTV castle !! This was taken in May 1995 as was Noel and Blobby...

The space net with my mate Adam at the top this was taken in May 1996..

Finally the Voyager which sat where Fireball does now... I found this terryfing as it was so slow and often got stuck did it not in mid air ? It made a loud noise like a fog horn when it was rotating.... I have a picture of Woody going round in it too. The Voyager pics were taken I think in the 1998 season.... Again a very short lived ride where did it go ?

1999 was when I worked there and a damm good fun time we had I remember the MegaDance being new then and that was quite good yet also use to get stuck !!

Can someone arrange for these to go into the old photos area of this site ?

Does anyone remember when ITV1 did a massive concert at PWH with H & Clare, Liberty X and more.. They went on the rides and the stage was near the castle theatre??

Anyone??

YES^ The CITV WHITE KNUCKLE TOUR. The ride of fear was Mega Drop where the girls of Liberty X rode, an 'eating' challenge on the Cannonball and a get your own back type challenge where someone 'nomiated' their parents to ride the Mouse for ages! I did have it on VHS and did look for it a while ago, but sadly i think it went in a clear out :(

Busted were also a warm up act for the event. This was the year before i worked at the park and i asked Peter Hadden if he was keen for a return, which he was, but sadly childrens TV suffered from huge budget cuts, and it never did.

Yes, I was there. Have the whole thing on DVD.

Was a hot day and loads of screamers there. Followed the White Knuckle Tour to Chessington and then Drayton Manor too.....

Yes, converted the VHS to DVD last year ( it also contains other white knuckle episodes ) and also from VHS to DVD was the Christian Worship show that the then Anglia TV filmed there one day in 1997... the Supertrooper and a few other rides are seen....

I've got some of those postcards somewhere. I did try and find them but they are nowhere to be seen. I've got a PWH Tshirt somewhere (as seen in the photo of me and my friend on the log flume).
