They're also adding a new film to the 4D cinema this year!

It's as if they're responding to all the new stuff that PWH are adding...

Confirmed on their FB page that the new 4D film is 'Little Ants Adventure'.

It says Family Star cost £300,000, I would take a fixed Enigma over that any day.

It doesn't look great, but it suits the Pleasure Beach. I'm glad to finally see them invest in the place!

The refurb on the Snails sounds pretty serious.... I may actually have to have a go!

I went yesterday. Family Star is actually not a bad ride. I went on it twice and the first time it was fairly slow and tame but the second time gave a much better ride with lots of spinning.
The snails are looking a lot better. There's not been any massive changes but there are some new models in the outside section and the whole thing has been cleaned up and repainted.

The outside of the ghost train looks great - miles better than the old purple paint job. I didn't notice much difference inside except maybe a bit of UV paint.

so much in just 1:20 hahaaa

0:34- 0:39 haha a bit of calm

and what is the noise at 0:46 - thought it was another 'fake' train at first with 'ghosts on' pretending to hit the train, the realised it was a reflection

I may be wrong... But aren't these their Waltzers at the bottom? http://www.ridetraders.com/SetSubFilters.aspx?ParentID=86&SubMode=Manufacturer&ParentName=Purpose%20Built

Confirming that their selling them to clear the land for The Edge?

It does look like their Waltzer. But we've known that there's a few rides for sale for a while now.

Waltzer, Evolution, Snake Slides, Go-Karts and that little kids cowboy ride are all said to be up for sale.

Shame really quite classic rides. Do we know the fate of the log flume? Would be a shame to lose it altogether to the scrap man!

Well, according to that news article, it's due to be replaced by 2015. It is a great shame, but it is quite unpopular (maybe they should sort the water out?).

Hmmm! Sea water! *coughs guts up* I wouldn't say it's unpopular though (Though maybe this year as prices increased), It's packed in the summer and so is the "wet zone" path nearby.. Normally im there too happily getting soaked in the summer sun.

That's bad even for a fairground coaster! Dire! Aside from looking diabolical, what do they ride like?

These are tamer, and more aimed towards kids. The model that GYPB have got does look a bit boring though.
