RE: Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach

Ahh i'm glad the snake slides have gone, They was looking in a bit of bad condition! I wonder if these means we might see a larger new attraction for 2015 to fill that space along with kiddie drop tower.

Two new rides AND a new film for the 4D cinema: The Lost World.

Nice poster on Facebook, it looks like it could be quite a good watch.

It was rumoured that they were looking for one last year but nothing happened.

If it's still under construction in Italy, like the small drop tower, I'd guess it's from the same manufacturer. If they just wanted a wheel I doubt they would have got one from Italy. Who knows. Time will tell I guess.

Love the new colour scheme of the disko...orange and black I think it was...defo orange.

also at the far end some new pleasurebeach banners put on the fence alongside the path and lots of packages stored with protective film over them...could not see at all what they were

Right, ready for a 'eh?!' moment?

Just seen an ad for GYPB in the Norwich advertiser, and they mention the new rides. The new ride opening in the summer is....... a spinning coaster......

Eh?!

It's likely to be this:

Which is small enough to go anywhere really.

Yes I would imagine it's going to be brand new, like the new drop tower.

And like the new drop tower, this is also made by SPF Vista.

Seems strange that it's not going to be ready until June though...

drove past today...was empty with the abysmal weather, log flume shut and there was a log stuck on the main lift hill, a burger van has been put under the old snakes slide sign and more pleasurebeach banners on the fences right round to the rear of the park by their car park

It's just small SBF tower, Scott. The same as what Adventure Island have added to their new indoor area.

It's strange, this year they're adding two smaller versions of rides they already have. Yet the ones they already have are hardly 'adult' rides. If they had a Jolly and Magic Mouse, then yeah it would make sense. But a Zamperla Sky Drop and Fabbri Spinner are practically kids rides as it is.

They've confirmed on Facebook that the new coaster is the model pictured above.
