Like the revamp by the UP. It looks really nice.

When I go, I shall be looking at the what has happened to Enigma, Timber Falls and the Castle as these were the areas that we think may have changed a little.

May also see what has happened to the playground and see if I can hazzard a guess as to what the large skip around the Rattlesnake area was- perhaps they are doing some revamps around there?

I would like to see something done at the bottom of the park.

I think they should give it an explorer theme to the jungle ballons and rattlesnake would fit in perfectly and if they get a traviling rapids they could call it something like Congo River Rapids.

Lol, dont you all feel like we're going around and around with discussions, talking about the same thing over and over again?

Basically yes but were just putting random ideas together to make them sound more plausible and make them make more sense...although they mean the same thing almost the same any way

The thing is though, there never probably will be. Say we do get a new ride next year, that will give us something to talk about over winter and into the 2011 season, but then we'll soon be stuck for things to talk about again.

I think we need another section of the forum for "Local Attractions" - which could include Gt Yarmouth Pleasure Beach and Joyland etc. And an "Other Theme parks" section where we can chat about other parks across the Country or even the world.

Yeah I've been thinking that we need to expand this forum a swell for quite a while. However, for discussion on a small park, it has done very well to last a year!

I don't think it's true that there will never be anything to talk about- I think the park will grow and grow as the years go by and Wipeout ( yes, I know it was 3 years ago) was a massive step in the right direction!

I took a little drive into the car park at Pleasurewood Hills today, and while I didn't see anything in the way of new rides or attractions I did notice some new signs around the car park entrance and exit.

As you can see, they are in line with the new green colour scheme which is on the 2010 leaflet.

They look quite cool don't they?!

What can you actually see from the car park- can you see what they could doing to the Timber Falls?

Im sure somebody said there was something goingon around SING- did you notice anything?

Hardly exciting stuff is it? Ah well, I'm sure they must be planning something for next year.

I'm liking the new signs. Despite the fact that we really don't have anything exciting in store for this season it does please me to see an effort is being made with the general upkeep of the park.

The park really is crying out for something now but we've been over this time and time again. I actually check the Waveney Planning Portal every week to see if PWH have applied for planning permission for anything, alas I am always disappointed!

I suppose we can look forward to see if Enigma will be running two trains this year - fingers crossed!

Yeah that "essential maintenance" was way back in October! Hopefully fixing that awful breaking system! Some themeing would nice- that ride is SO ugly at the moment- very bare. no

As I mentioned in my trip report it is also the deadest area of the park. No atmosphere down there at all!

Thanks Datman- quite interesting. Will be good to see what Timber Falls looks like now!

Do you know of anything that has happened to Enigma?

Good to see some attention to the SING area, it's about time!

A Flat Bed lorry...? They've either dropped something 'big' off, or picking something 'big' up. I cant imagine they've got one of them for some flower beds. Even so, flower beds would still brighten that area up ;)

You working at the park again this year Datman?

yep back for the 2010 season

new kiddies slide now in the carpark in pieces so that could be going down near the clown side??

looks like one train on enigma for this season, the enigma body will be used for this season (purple with lots of question marks on it )

when i said flatbed i didnt mean a huge one :(  just a small one

no sign of the container that was mention the other week.

Or a replacement for the Clown slide? Hopefully as that Clown slide is pure tack!

Shame about Enigma though, one train is so frustrating. It's a good thing PWH doesn't attract more guests as I honestly don't think they could cope.

I'm looking forward to seeing what other minor changes the park has made this year.

Yeah im looking forward to seeing what minor things are done.

Good to see some  redevelopment being done around SING area- would be surprised if this wasn't for preparation of a new ride in 2011. Rapids perhaps? ;)

Shame about Enigma- perhaps they just fized the breaks?>

SITG has a NEW LIFT TUNNEL. Went upto the park today and despite the fact the season starts on friday, a load of scaffolding and new silver tunnel has appeared on the climb. Hopefully they will cover this with some sort of theming. Typical PWH, the ride has been sat there all winter and the week before opening they are still working on something. Happened last year with Timber Falls, of course.

A new small kiddies play area has apeeared next to Wipeout, in front of the out-of-place Woody Copters.

Nice to see money being spent, just a shame its not on a new ride of course.

Wow! Great news there Andy thanks! It is a shame it's not a new ride but the overall image of the park is improving all the time with little things like this and that's what makes a good park!

Hopefully they have then got rid of those tacky looking Christmas lights in the SITG tunnel.

At the minute the tunnel looks like something off a launch coaster with no theming. biggrin

Hopefully they will put something inside.

and new silver tunnel has appeared on the climb.

Lol, I do hope something will be going over it! It did need a new tunnel as there were lots of holes in the old one.

I'm sure they'll get it looking proper again soon, they are good at making the rides look better, I'll give them that.

A new small kiddies play area has apeeared next to Wipeout

That is probably what we were told about a while back, but we all thought it would be the current play area getting a revamp. This is also what the slide in the car park is for?

However many kiddies area's will there be! There's too wayyy too many at the park. I agree that something of the family category needed to be placed opposite Wipeout, but I was thinking more along the lines of the Carousel, or Waveswinger, not another bloody kiddy area!
