This was done during the 2008-2009 closed season. I think it was Yellowified when CDA came involved in 2005.
I painted it yellow in early 2008, we mainly did the que line (getting rusty) and the front of the ride, plus the blue inside. It was already yellow then but needed a bit id tidying up, there was quite a bit of metal work replaced as well.
Unless i did start doing it brown., but im sure it was yellow.
having one of those drops enclosed would be brilliant, but im not sure that woudl pass safty issues?

Definitely. They should make use of the restrictions down the bottom end of the park, like enclosing Snake in the Grass, or maybe building quiet attractions, like a Giant Wheel, or a few kids rides (Woodys Flying school etc)
Similar, but not the same. Thunderstruck is a Huss Tri-Star, where as the ride that used to be where the Kite Flyer is, is a Huss Trioka - despite them usually having the name "Tristar"!
The old Troika, great ride! The area at the bottom really needs something; it feels out of the way and just a bit sort of run down so to speak. There was rumours of accommodation going down that end of the park. What happened with that?
Yes Josh the awful run down part and so empty looking rattlesnake area was meant to be caravans etc/static homes all along park perimitter - not sure this will ever go through - there was plans drawn up but they were not made public.
Something urgently needs to go on Hungry bears old concrete base which is still there under gravel

Another thing Ben wants to sort, he did say he wants something there.
It use to be a brill marquee...way back in the early 90s when the park was rammed to the fences each day you could get your fried breakfasts in there before the park opened the attractions to the general public... have good memories of being in there and working in there too...
Snake and Tales of the coast seem to need some attention. Hopefuly sooner than later. But Snakes end of the park seriously needs cleaning up. There is two empty plots that could be use, one near the picnic site and the other near the chairlift.
Bring back the Enterprise (Dam you Alton Towers) this was my absoulite fav when PHW had it.
what is the smoke from near the beginnign of the video?
I love the S&S Screaming Swing, I personally don't care for the Booster though. Although I haven't been in one so I apologise for forming an opinion not based on experience, I think they look like something found at a fairground rather than a theme park and the throughput's gotta be pretty poor. I also feel that s ride like that wouldn't appeal to enough people whereas a S&S SS would be perfect for PWH plus only the second on the UK?
A Screamin' Swing would be perfect for Pleasurewood - only thing is, they'd probably never get planning permission. The noise from the two massive accumulators either side of the ride would probably put planning guys right off it. The one at Thorpe is so loud!
What about allowing people to camp on/in the park? I'm sure there's somewhere they could allow people to pitch a tent for a weekend in the park. Another way for the park to make some money. But only on weekends.

Yes. I say weekends only due to the extra work PWH would need to do, and you'll need a quite a few people to make money. they could put on some evening entertainment in the castle theater, the arcade and fish n chip shop thing could stay open. Making sure nobody plays on the rides is the main issue, but the kids play park will be available, the boats on the lake. Maybe keep the laser maze open for them too, oh and the use of the BBQ shed would be fantastic!!!!
Theres a bit of grass behind the rubber dingy slide ride they could use.
