New TV Advert

Just saw a new Pleasurewood TV advert on ITV. Well I think its new anyway, I watch ITV alot and have never seen it before.

It fits in with the new theme/brand the park was given for 2009 - "Pleasurewood Thrills". Sharing the same look as the new brochures & wesbite etc.

I must say it is a very good advert, and again, like the new website & brochures, it shows the park in very good light.

I honestly can say I am very impressed with the marketing side of things this year. There are posters on billboards, phone boxes, bus's, pretty much everywhere you look, and there's adverts and sponsering on the local Radio stations, as well as this new TV advert.

Its advertising like this that can make any park a success, in fact, advertising like this that can draw visitors better than a new ride can!

And we've had alot of good weather so far this summer, so lets hope its been proved a worthy investment by the park.

With all these marketing invesments, the good weather, and the local area's still reeling over Wipeout, this could well be one of the parks most successful years!

And that means more rides smile
I have also noticed alot more Pleasurewood Hills marketing in Ipswich, brochures everywhere and the radio especially.

It's here on Creative Sponges website:

I like it alot. They are still using some old footage of Mellow Yellow by the looks of things but all in all a great little TV ad. I must say I am impressed with the amount of advertising this year. Hopefully a big boost for the park.

Lol, I've seen tons of buses like that! God knows how much that costs, as it costs more than enough just to have them little posters on buses, let alonw plastering the whole bus in a poster!

I have honestly never know the park to be so 'extreme' with their advertising. Which begs the question, if they've got the money to advertise like this, why ahevn't they got the money for new attractions?

But then to be honest, I'd rather see the park spend their money on doing stuff like this (re-branding the park), than buy a rubbish second hand travelling ride.

All the marketing this year has been top notch & very professional, and is really showing the park in a good light.

There's even a news article on the parks website about how this year, they were 'platinum' sponsors of the Lowestoft airshow!

Pleasurewood Hills have been gold sponsors of the airshow for several years, and this year, have become the only ‘platinum’ sponsors of the event.
