RE: New Pleasurewood Website

A perons from the park did say that there was going to be something for the "fan community" so I'm guessing it's talking about that! smile

Anyone else noticed the major lack of rides mentioned on the website? There's the 'thrill' section with about 5 rides, and the 'family' section with about 5 rides, but thats it.

The old website had a 'kiddies' section with all the smaller rides listed, but the current website shows the park only has about 10 attractions!

Just looking through the website there is still the full attraction list under the park guide tab.  I know what you mean though - the main section of the site barely mentions the smaller rides.

Just to let you know that PWH has updated their website again this season. Keeping with the same style as last year but updating the colours to coincide with their new marketing and altering the design. Looks really nice, an improvement on last years!

Tbh they hbent done much to their banners on the leaflets buses etc but change the colour of the name so the website which I can't see due to my Internet being really slow can't be that different can it?

Yeah I like it too. Though I dont like the big white 'blocks' with the news updates in them. They could have made them blend in with the back ground a bit, and listing them on the home page makes the actual news page pointless?

The Buses probably have the same 'posters' as last year, purely because they just kept them on the buses. so there's not really much need to change them.

The leaflets have changed though, they have been seen by a few people. Maybe the place where you saw, just had old ones? My local Chinese still has the old leaflets from last year.

It looks so much better now. However there are still some errors- why do they still use images of Timber Falls old colour scheme. The ride looks so much better now!

Still can't complain- theres not many people following it on Twitter are there?! The site is looking really nice now...

I remember that account. Didn't a guy from the site say something about Woody being in the social loop  more? I guess they just mean't the Twitter account I suppose... which has a dire following of 6 people!

Also, theres some very old news being showed in the news section atm. There needs to be more going on at Pleasurewood!

PWH 2010 TV advert is up on Youtube:

2010 TV AD

It's nice but not ground breaking - I can't believe they are still using Mellow Yellow stock footage!!

Speaking of which the website:

Still pictures of Mellow Yellow under the Timber Falls section - how hard is it to take a couple of photos?  They've had almost a year!

They still advertise Tales of the Coast as a 3D ride - I don't know about you guys but in my visits in 2008 and 2009 no 3D glasses were evident on the ride at all.

Still advertises the Circus and Tango show which as we know is now the BMX Urban thingy ma bob.

and finally "7 great reasons to visit PWH" - only has 6 examples disbelief

Simple little things - other than that the website is looking really nice.

Do you remeber they said they would add an area for the fan community? Im actaully quite glad they didn't- that would have killed this site off! no

I'm quite annoyed as it appears they've given up on updating the website, which is odd as they're normally very good at updating it regularly.

They've added 2011 info to the site already. Entrance fee is up AGAIN, but only by 50p to £17.

Its starting to get expensive for how little the park offers.

i agree, if they are going to raise prices, they could at least justify it with new attractions - and i don't mean a blooming nature trail, this is useless, also, if you want to save money get a dated ticket online and save money, even if it is the day you are going, i have done this many times

Its not a problem at the minute, after all it is only £17, compare that to the £22 for Ligh****er and Camelot.

Wow, that is expensive for Camelot.

Also, compared with GYPB, PWH still offers great value for money, esp. with family tkts.

They've added 2 fantastic ariel pics of the park to the website:

You can see the new look Timber Falls, SNIG's tunnel and the new play area, so they're obviously recent.

I keep checking the website as we should be seeing a few changes to the map this year. Such as new Nature Trial, New laser thing, and no doubt they'll add New train station, and new entrance system!lol

It's amazing how those aerial photos make the park look so small!

Its also quite surprising just how small Fireball is compare to Timber Falls! It seems huge at ground level.

I'm really disappointed with Pleasurewood, and how they've kinda given up on updating the website....
