Is Thunderstruck the worst ride at Pleasurewood?

BAsic, just answer the question, do the poll and discuss.

Yes, it is by far the worst ride Pleasurewood has ever had.

And it makes me sick to think they actually class it as one of their thrilling rides!

Does anyone know what the ride manufacturer is?
It looks remarkebly like a Huss Tri-star, and yes, it is truly terrible. It ruins an otherwise nice little bit of the park.

Yes it is a Huss Tri-Star.

Used to be at Pleasure Island a while back apparently.

I feel sorry for them, but I don't think the ride would be that bad if they speeded it up a bit!

Whilst I was riding Thunderstruck all I could here was creaking - in fact I found it quite scary to be honest! And you are right - it is so slow. There is no sensation whilst riding it and for that fact I had no desire to go on it again and I won't bother in future visits.

I don't know why they got rid of the drop ride. I absolutely love drop rides and Pleasurewood Hills should definitely invest in one. I can re-ride drop rides numerous times. But at the moment Thunderstruck does nothing at all for me!

Yes, the Fabbri drop tower "Mega Drop" or "Drop Zone" was Pleasurewood Hills' best past ride IMO, the reason they got rid of it is because it was an old smaller travelling version of Detonator at Thorpe Park, whilst a good ride, not very reliable.

Yeah, but I also remember hearing that it was just on loan, until they found another attraction (of which thunderstruck is ridiculously not suitable).

Firstly, they didn't get rid of it because Thorpe Park has one!?!?!

And secondly it is exactly the same height as the Detonator at Thorpe Park, it is the exact same ride, apart from Thorpe added a custom seating arragement to it.

Yeah, but I also remember hearing that it was just on loan

It was loaned from a travelling fair company, but it did have many technical problems, so the loan was ended early.

^ I didn't mean they got rid of it because Thorpe had one, but I wasn't aware it was the same height.

Ok, thats just the way it came out as I read it. lol.

But yes it is the same height. I think Fabbri only do 2 different types of them drop towers, the 115ft version and one thats around 160ft. They used to have a really good website where you could look through all of their rides, and there were absolutely tons of them.
