RE: Wipeout's Train

When it was first reported in the Lowestoft Journal, that image was across the double page-spread. It appears to be an artist render.

Rode Wipeout Monday. Was quite impressed with the ride........not impressed with the train.

I think PH definitely need a new train. Two of the cars weren't working which, when running every 5 minutes regardless of queue length, is not good at all.

Having said that it was a pretty smooth ride and really enjoyed it.

The danger is, if they get a new train, it might make the ride rough.

So they're still not using them 2 cars!! Idiots! I want to no why! And I want to no now! lol

Though apparently its something to do with the on ride photo. Which if true, is ridiculous.

I thought it was something to do with the weight, and if it is to do with the photo, I didn't get a photo when I first went on it anyway, the whole photo shop was closed, so why even bother.

"I was shocked at how smooth this ride was. It really rode like a brand new steel coaster. Major kudos to Vekoma.

The seats are so comfy you feel so relaxed and have tons of room. No headbanging at all.
It's impossible to bang you head and the only little bump you feel is heading into the cobra roll fowards. The rest of the ride is as smooth as glass.

Carolina Cobra is by far the best Boomerang out now. Hopefully other parks decide to purchase the new train so everyone can feel how amazing Boomerangs can be.

For those of you thinking how crazy it is for people to think that the best Vekoma out is a boomerang, but until you ride this thing, it's impossible to understand how incredibly fun this ride is when the headbanging factor is gone. Cobra is as smooth as a B&M (except for one spot on the backwards cobra roll) and you really appreciate the design of the coaster when you ride it when it's smooth."

This was written by someone on another forum.  People are raving about Carolina Cobra!!

Wow, sounds pretty cool! PH really should invest in new trains but I suppose they have to see it as financially viable. Would love though!

Its not something they actually need though, so I cant see them spending money on it. The only way they'd get a new train would be as a gift from Vekoma.

I like the current train anyway, really nice colour and suits the colour of the track. Wiepout is a very attractive Boomerang, well it is when you compare it to some others, like:
