RE: Timber Falls Log Flume

So where that girl is running, is that the start of the queue line?

And whats that little tunne/shed thing that runs parallel to the first drop?

Whilst the queue looks nice, the ride itself looks very bare. I think they need a wooden log style covering for the loading/unloading area!

Yeah I think the ride starts there Martyn, it does look ever so bare in that part dosn't it?! They should have carried the log theme out throughout the ride.

I think they should have some sort of roofing over the two drops which has a kinda wooden treehouse theme...

There are some good soundbites throughout the ride though apparently, a

That little shed thing could well be a shop, anyone confirm?

^ It justs covers up the sheild / shelter which protected the old queue lane from the first drop splash. 'Danger Logs!' is painted on there. Looks good with the chainsaw 'soundtrack' in background also.

Agreed that the station would be MUCH improved if covered. But generally the ride has never looked so good.

Meh? So do you queue in there? Looks a bit small if you ask me. I like that big new sign thats above the queue!

Does the ride have any nice new signs/logo's of the name?

Its not a shop and you dont Q in there at all its compleatly blocked off :)
(speaker system ect for sound effects are in there)
The Q lane goes under the sign in the photo then weaves left and right up to the point where it meets the steps that take uyou up to the platform.
If you look back at the picture that was posted in this thread last season it shows a view looking down the Q lane , the Q lane is now to the left of where the straight Q lane was (which is now compleatly blocked :)

Why did they remove the frame for the canvas cover on the short straigt section as you come to the end, just before the platform? That splash from the big drop will soak the boats as they come into the station!

Well that begs the question, why was it there in the first place?

Have they sorted anything with the boats getting soaked at the bottom of the big lift?

Just something I said in "15th April 2010" topic in the My Visit section:

I am imposing an Unofficial Pleasurewood rule that when you visit you must take photos of areas of general forum interest and then post them.

smile

Still yet to be adhered to wink
