Have just called about the 2019 Family Season Pass, Grandparents have been shafted and are no longer qualified for the Family Pass.   I bet like me an awful lot of Family Season Passes were purchased by the Grandparents.

No explanation as to why, must just be pure greed.

If anyone else is peeved please let them know, I certainly have.

Could you be more specific on what's happened? I'm not too familiar with the Family Pass set up.

Hi Martyn

The Family Season Pass in previous years allowed for a Family 2 parents and up to 4 children, additionally it allowed for 4 Grandparents to be named and 2 at any one time permitted with the children.

Hence that so many of these passes were purchased as gifts for children and grandchildren, now grandparents have been removed and if they wished to take grandchildren they would have to pay extra, Every time....

But it’s a business and they need to make money. Season passes are still great value for money even at full price.

Did not say it was not good value, just that now they have penalised Grandparents whom invariably do not use the rides, but will now have to pay for every visit.

Obviously you did not read or understand my original post

I can't think of any other theme park that allows grandparents in for free, so PWH shouldn't be criticized for doing the same.

I agree with Martyn..

However, weren't they providing cheaper tickets which just give access to the trains and shows? If they brought these back, I imagine they would be popular with Grandparents
