2017

Hmmm not sure. We currently have ''Tony's Bar'' in the former palladium. Could it be there perhaps?

I can see them using that.

I don't see why they need to rebrand Joe's, maybe they will finally use one of the shops on main street!

Wasn't the castle going to have a bar in it as part of it's refurbish?
Where did they get the name Tony from anyway? seems very random.
Maybe the Play aria has been dumped and it's now a new pizza place? would explain why it hasn't opened yet.

Pleasurewood hills its now time.
Tide traveller has gone, replace with an enterprise ride.
Snake in the grass has gone, replace with a magic Mouse ride.
Get the pirate ship working correctly.
Get at least another car for enigma.
Get another small train with both trains pulling 6 carriages.
Get all the rides operational when the park opens.

Trust me, it will increase visitor numbers.

To be fair, all rides usually are open. They don't really need another small train just yet, if things continue to improve then yes it will be essential.

Repairing the Ship and new train for Enigma shouldn't cost too much, nor would a second hand family coaster and flat ride

It's probably also a case of "who you know". (Schwarzkopft are unfortunately a dying breed, they could easily pick up parts for a train from somewhere...)

They already have a magic mouse, last thing they need is another.
They do need another coaster to replace the snake, but i'm talking about a proper family one not one of those silly Kid versions. although they could do with one of them also.

Looks like the money this year is being spent on the castle, some shops and i would assume a new flat to replace TTT.
It's going to be many many years before the snake mess is sorted (look how long it took to fix the castle) But getting another train or two on the cannonball express would really help now they're a coaster down.

We'll see. looking forward to seeing what happens next.

I would love to see a new train and carriages for the miniature railway. The whole area also needs a bit of a tidy up - there’s some forgotten bits of tatty theming in the woods which could do with disappearing.

Bubbles, there is no magic mouse at Pleasurewood hills.
I question your knowledge on this theme park!
It was there over 10 years ago and it needs to make its return.

A theme park does not need two of the same ride! The Magic Mouse at the park is working fine atm and do not need another one any time soon

Marble Madness is a wild mouse coaster, I’m pretty sure that’s what Bubbles meant. There’s no point having another coaster that’s similar to that one, especially when the spinning mouse is probably the least unique rollercoaster in the country lol.

What do you think MARBLE MADNESS is ?   It's a re-themed wild mouse coaster but instead of the spinning cars they have regular ones.. spinning ones can be added if the wish.   The track layout is pretty much identical to the one they had, again the difference is they re themed it and put on non spinning cars.

Pointless having a spinning and a non spinning one on the park...  don't you think?

Going by a Facebook post that's just gone up, seems like Tonys pizza pasta place is a permanent addition!

I hope it's priced well and tastes good!

The palladium i believe.
I suspect it's only open for the winder season to tie in with the Christmas shows and ice skating, to have at least one food outlet open.

I think it's permanent with how they're talking about. It's "open just in time for our Christmas event", so that to me implies that it'll be open for longer.

The Palladium would be an odd choice of location due to Smokey Joe's right behind it....

But them Smokey Joe's wont be open over the winter, which is why i assume Tony's is just a temp pop up food stall.
Unless they've dumped the play aria idea and kept it a food outlet?

Those are the only too places i can think of.. or maybe in the castle?

Its on the park map  Num 45 and is indeed the Palladium,   The palladium has a side door which goes into smokey joe's  so easy access to the kitchens and bringing food in and out ,it also has its own small kitchen  so that may be utilised,  it  could  be temp for winter  as  locking that door then means no access from smokey joe's   palladium would make a better restaurant than smokey joe's as carpet and seating is better than the hard chairs and wooden floor of smokey joe's  and its limited seating  per day when its open , which has to be pre booked on the website

Thanks for the info Coolskin. I drove past today and noticed that the road between the park and tesco had been closed by the police. This explains it.

On a  facebook group there is a brilliant picture of a Boeing CH-47 Chinook parked up with full view of the park in the background, awesome picture. It also shows the car park full of people on the excercise. There was also other helicopters landing too.

Suffolk police shared some information on their page too.

Had a quick bike up the park today. Fireballs seating is also under the dodgems with wipeouts cars as seen in the pic posted few weeks back, a new fence has been installed not sure how long ago just before the car park gates on the right hand side. Looks much better now and the public footpath information sign has been moved over to the gunton hall side. Also not sure how long they have been there yet two Heart FM boards as you drive out one on each ponds fence.

Jolly roger all folded up and a billboard on wheels outside main gates advertising the xmas show, which looking at the website seating plan has now picked up quite a bit with bums on seats

Instead of trying to flog season passes in Norwich they should have woody and friends drumming interest for the Xmas Show. I’ll report on both the show and Tony’s as I’m visiting both on Thursday.

I guess it would be nice to know what you get for you're season pass.
Considering two rides were removed last year and haven't been replaced.. yet, and for all we know they wont be this year.

I'm hoping everyone has been busy with this Christmas event, and other work will continue in the new year, because there's not been much change as of yet. Rattlesnake is still SBNO and TTT is still in bits by Enigma.

This Christmas event would be an ideal chance to show off any new rides for 2018....
