M&D Rollercoaster crash

This just made the new a few minutes ago, another tragic crash.

It seems quite a few people are hurt. :(

Although it's not known, speculation points to a lack of maintenance rather than a manufacturer issue. It's an awful incident and thankfully no one was killed.

The point is that with UK regulations, it shouldn't have happened.

Cant believe the entire train fell off! Did a section of track drop or something? Hope there were no little toddlers on the ride below!

Is it me or is this becoming more common?

It's absolutely insane that an entire inverted coaster train derails and lands on top of another ride and there are no fatalities!

It's even more insane that this is ten times worse than the Smiler crash and the media seem to have forgotten it already!

Victims probably won't get pay-outs anywhere near as high as the people on the smiler. Most people probably didn't even know M&D's existed and Alton's one of the biggest, most well known parks in the UK, so along with BREXIT and everything it's not really that surprising that the media hasn't covered it all that much.
