it is the opening hours one that is baffling... unless its been decided that October half term just isn't worth it - then all other attractions will be open locally -
If they didn't profit from last Halloween then possibly it wouldn't be viable to open again. I think 2013 was a great event but I don't think it paid off. Unless of course it will be a separate announcement. As for opening half way through the week :/ ???
well I think the website is yet to be fully sorted as although it says 2015 when you google search the results, the map on the website still lists 2014 stuff as new - so time will tell
I would be gobsmacked if the park didnt open over the Halloween period at all , but I guess stranger things have happened. My guess is that once the season is underway and budgets have been looked at, they will start to make decisions on the length and scale of the Halloween event for this year.
yes. all very true. I am sure this is all just a glitch - yet remember though Halloween is always the next year figures so this years is 2016 season - not that it should have any impact on being open
I've heard pleasurewood hills is getting a new ride and it should begin to be put up within the next couple of weeks, which makes me think it would be on site already?
There was nothing in the car park that I saw the other day and I expect they only started back last Monday - I would love a new ride yet I am not sure anything will be there yet - I say it is TTT dependant - if it goes it will get replaced - if it doesn't maybe a additional ride though ?
It's not hard to *think* that there's going to be a new ride. We have two potential clues; the comments with regards to santa bringing woody a gift, and the gate price increase midway through the season.
They've confirmed on Facebook that the park reopens on Wednesday 1st April.
I've just checked and the local schools (Norfolk and Suffolk) have their final day on Friday March 27th. So the park is going to be closed for the first 4 days of the Easter hols.
The October half term comment has not been answered on Facebook yet the recruitment one has been. Maybe we will get answers soon. There must be a clear reason why the season starts a bit odd and finishes early - unless October will be looked at nearer the time. Stay positive
I can't imagine it's cut backs, especially to do with attendance. How many times last year did they post about "another record breaking day"?
And they turned a profit for the first time in 10 years. The park is in good shape, people are enjoying their visits and it's popularity has clearly improved tenfold over the last few years.
But they ditch social media, alienate fans, and now open midway through a school hols? Bring back Alexis, Ben and co!
We had that one season with Ben, Alexis and co, Hobs Pit being opened, great social media, and now all of a sudden theres nothing, Its a shame as it can be such a great park.
Now, this is 99% pure speculation but... This edition of Parkworld Magazine available here: http://content.yudu.com/A3bkd6/PWDecJan2015/resources/index.htm?referrerUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.parkworld-online.com%2F (page 24) mentions an Intamin water ride heading to the UK this year, didn't people say a water ride would be good at PWH?

Just seen on the Graphitas facebook page: Just had a great meeting with a certain bear this morning. There's some exciting things happening over at Pleasurewood Hills this year!
I can see why Easter break has been cut down, it's never appears to be a success New rides are never ready, Park is still a bit messy, weather is usually poor and attendance is down. Better off having a slightly later start date, those who want to visit the park will still turn out, it just means attendance wont be spread out over a longer period. For the time of year i think it's the best way forward. No point being open if you're loosing money.
