Was kinda hoping for some last minute news about the castle for the summer season, it's sad it's no longer being used.
Maybe next year, they can't have a dive show three years running?

Intriguing. I recall saying on here last season that the unexpected closure of the Castle felt similar to what happened with the main street shop and Fairytale Fantasy ride.
Last time we ended up with Hobs Pit, so I hope we will be equally impressed by something substantial.
^ I remember us talking about an indoor coaster, but I can't remember anything from the park.
So has it definitely been repainted? I thought it always looked like that, although in saying that, I can't exactly picture what it currently looks like.
The wednesday opening tends to be busy, normally full of school kids. I'd be worried if it wasn't busy tbh.
Yeah I get the feeling this is going to be a quick fix-up for the summer hols, though you'd have thought there would have been more publicity by now...
Remember, there's that statement on the website about the entrance fee rising mid-season....
There seems to be hints at something new is inside, and more then likely for the summer.
Maybe this will make up for that silly bumper cars., but I reckon it'll be a summer show.

This weeks various local rags, B+B, YM, LJ and I assume the EDP have had a pullout book which is sponsored by the park and also has a double page spread too inside the booklet
Pleasurewood Hills have posted an updated on their Facebook page about the Castle Theatre... It now has a sign above the door saying "Woody and Friends". The building will be used for meet and greets at regular intervals through the day with one mascot being present at each time.
Am I right in thinking that the meet and greets happened outside the Castle last season? I wonder if the whole building is being used for this or just a section of it.
But nobody wants to have a photo with just one!!! get all three of them together, make it worth wild.
I think I read the meets were done outside the castle.
it's possible something else is going on inside, maybe a show with the characters?
But whatever It is I hope it comes to and end and the castle can get back to being a decent attraction in the future.
I think Meet and greets, with photoshoots should be done at/in woodys cabin, last I heard it's not use for anything anymore.

To be fair, it looks like they've done a proper job of it and actually themed the area! It's a good idea having these meet and greets, I bet kids love it!
Park now open until 6pm, so we are at full hours for the summer holidays, also advertising banner across the journal website featuring a video. |The banner changes very few seconds to show Wipeout, sealions the dive show and more

I've been very impressed with the advertising efforts this year. The parks logo seems to be all over the place!
Just a shame that the new ride people will look forward is drivel. (And I feel for the park with regards to the weather, hot dry and sunny until Saturday, then rain every day since kids have broke up!)
