I concur. Thank you Ben for everything you've done over the last year; you have made the UP community feel very welcome by listening to what we have to say and doing all you can to answer our questions.
It is clear that your work at the park has made a big difference, the marketing and social media presence has been excellent over the last year.
Good luck in your new role at a nearby Norfolk attraction; you haven't been poached by the competition at GYPB have you?
Can't help but want to echo everything Josh said. You will be a big loss to our little park Ben. Thanks for everything you done for the park, and for us. Especially the Hobs Pit preview tickets.
I wish you all the best in your new venture!
You'll be a huge, huge loss to the park and I hope whoever has nicked you realises what talent you have!
You've done wonders for the park and it's presence on social media and general marketing. You've been an absolute asset to this website and have given us so much insight and information since you've been at the park...
I am having concerns that after a brillaint 2013 with marketing and designs etc that this year will struggle to live up to anything near as good , with sean, ben and bound to be a thrid thing go I am hoping that all this hard work has not gone to waste
Oh dear, kinda typical really. lol PHW staff have all been promoted and moved onto to bigger and better parks.. maybe??
If it's still in the hands of the same company then that's something but you never quite know how a new management team will do things.. and no doubt they'll want to do things their way. Seems a shame after all the hard work they've put In to just jump ship.. they were just getting started.

Well yeah coolskin but you could say that about any management team running a successful business.
Someone else out there wants people and they move on to bigger and better things. The status quo won't last forever. Let's be happy that the park's parent company are the ones allowing the cash for the current acquisitions and improvements and while they are there - this won't change. No matter who the general manager is.
You're right MrB but different things will happen. Ben always talked of bringing back the drop slide and the barbecue area; will ideas like this be favoured by a new GM? Hobs Pit is a very unique ride idea, I remember the video of Alexis walking around the ride trying to convince Loopings to give them more money; would Hobs Pit have happened under a different manager, who knows but my point is different managers will have different views on what's important and what's needed. Im not saying it's a bad thing but I'm almost certain that directions and priorities may change at PWH now. Its exciting times.
I stand to be corrected but I believe Alexis has also now left PWH.
Alexis has indeed left the business to pursue his next challenge! - We wish him the very best of luck. In other news, Liam Holmes, who has been part of the team here for over 20 years, has been promoted to the role of GM! :)
It's good that he's been a part of PWH for over 20 years and I just hope he shares the same enthusiasm and imagination as Alexis. He done a grand job with our little park, I wish him all the best for his future challenges.

Liam has done almost everything bless him. He was catering supervisor when I worked there in the late 90s, then catering manager, since then he has taken most stuff on. think most recent was head of on park operations - i could be wrong.
