Well today is the day I think we have ALL be waiting for! I have had a few cheeky goes of this yesterday and I was highly impressed!! I can see this being very popular and powerful family coaster. Who here is coming down this weekend to give it a go?!

Yeah I be it will be popular! I remember what the queues were like for the Magic Mouse! (This is why I was saying that the queue lane should run down the side of the coaster, so there isn't a sprawl of people on the midway)

Shame about the weather, but I hope it all goes well! I should be visiting next weekend.

I might not even get a chance to ride it this season, so tight for money at the moment.

Great piece on the Lowestoft Journal online...and a video........

www.lowestoftjournal.co.uk/news/video_take_a_ride_on_marble_madness_pleasurewood_hills_new_rollercoaster_1_3659506

The video was shot by Archant it seems and is good quality the video and story is also being carried on the Great Yarmouth Mercury website and the EDP website.

The story tells us more on attendance figures for 2014, other attractions and the fact we now have four coasters !!!

RE: NOW OPEN! Marble Madness: MS Wild Mouse Coaster

Evening all.... ;-) had a good look round marble madness this afternoon.... It looks and rides great....much better than I expected it too. Everybody was enjoying it and going back on again. It is a fantastic addition to the park and will appeal to all ages. I did take a couple of pictures which I will upload tomorrow hopefully..... Roll on next Saturday :-)

Marble Madness is getting some good feedback on Facebook from the public. It does look great and a nice clean paint theme makes it look great.

I'll visit in July when I have a few days off work. I can nee wait.

You surprise me! I think the question was more of whether the wait was long or was the queue moving fairly quickly.

Oh right josh, well the park had a few in despite the weather. It seemed the Que was going down well. The cars are auto release which is a bonus. I think on a busy day there will be a wait yet then there always was for the old mouse.

Can't remember where I read it now, but they're hoping for an hourly capacity of something like 500ppph... which is pretty low considering there's 5 cars!

Nice pic coolskin, really appreciate it as always. Really dont like that fence though, too much orange. And I really hate the fact that they've completely blocked off that grass around the coaster.

Has anybody taken an off ride video of marble madness yet please that they can post? Other than the one of woody? Would like to see it going with a few cars at once! Looking great though. Better than I thought and a good family coaster!

Great features in this weeks local press 4/7/14

Lowestoft Journal carries same picture and story as last Saturdays EDP - the journal also mentions the relocation of Fireball..

In a magazine pull-out the park is featured in a small section half way through yet also on page two with a full colour page advert

This weeks Waveney advertiser has a feature on the new ride too.

Pictures attached are this weeks Waveney Advertiser piece and what the advert roughly looks like in the pull out of the journal this week ( sorry cant seem to rotate the ad sample )

MM looks really nice. Very simple but clean cut colours and a nice finish. I would like to see PWH invest in more brick paving throughout the park, the patchwork Tarmac looks pretty unneat. I can't wait to see the park this season.

You can see in the forth pic that they haven't really done anything to the ground from when Fireball was on there. There's a mish mash of old brick paving, concrete and tarmac.

And I was surprised to see that the paint is pealing of the track already!

Due to the heavy trucks and cranes I would guess tarmac is required, It wont sink while brick paving will always sink if it's got a lot of weight on it.

But they could have dug up that concrete aria and made that look nice, (costs no doubt) But it does make it look untidy and unfinished.
Not surprised the paint is pealing, things like this take a lot of punishment. Maybe the painters didn't do it correctly.

Anyway I think it looks fantastic, I love the colours. I don't like the theme too much but it's fun and silly (better than the mouse) and I don't understand the title either., better off just calling it Madness. And it's a pity they didn't pull up the tide traveller and built it there.

It looks nice - bright and fun and the cars are great. Area around is a mess though with temporary fencing near the railway crossing and the Ariel view of the caravans isn't great. It's clear some landscaping has been started though which is good.

It rides nicely and is very fun - doesn't half throw you about though!

Good addition to the park.

Yeah the hairpin turns are taken really fast. As soon as you leave the lift hill it just takes off!
