Looking through the negative comments on Trip Adviser, a couple of them relate to the odd height restrictions especially on the teacups ride. I personally found it rather astonishing that adults can't ride the teacups with their youngsters. My 2 and a half year old is fine on tea cups with an adult. Same with Moby Dick, I think a toddler riding with a responsible adult would be fine on this too.
I thought it was just the norm but when I visited Paultons Park I was amazed that there was loads of rides that I could ride with Bella with no height restriction on Bella if she was with me. There was even a rollercoaster call the Flying Frog which had no height restriction (a 1 year old rode with her mother behind me) if ridden with an adult.
To me if these two rides (cups and Moby) were opened up to lower heights when ridden with an adult then the ride offering for kids has suddenly increased by 2. What do you guys think?
Is there something on that Teacups ride which is stopping it being ridden by adults? I personally have seen loads of kiddy tea cups rides which can be ridden by adults so to me it seems strange.
Well yesterday I did witness 4 kids under 12 walk out the queue because they had got to the front and been told they were too young, prompting complaints of "we've waited for ages in this queue and now we get told were to young."
if they were 11 then that's a bit harsh I guess, any younger then I can understand them being turned away.
I thought younger kids were allowed on if the signed paper work? or something like that.
I wonder if the age will raise for the Chills? (Probably not)

Technically with a 12A rating as long as under 12s are accompanied by an adult they are fine to go on. However the park enforces a no under 12 rule along side the 12A, making the 12A (except for publicity uses) redundant.
