hey, I've been on this forum for a few years now and never felt the need to comment. I'm just a interested reader as I grew up living in norwich and visited pleasurewood every year up until about 4/5 years ago. I was just browsing threw the norwich evening news website and came across the closure of yesterday's world. Does anyone feel this is a great time to get Ben back on board? The social side has been awful since bens departure. Laurence
As great as Ben was on the social media side of PWH, it appears that the current management aren't too keen on progressing down that route. So no matter who would be doing it, the outcome would most likely be the same.
I suppose the question for the big bosses will be: Did the more extensive viral, press and social media advertising equate to bigger numbers through the gates?
Even with the less intensive marketing campaign this season, the indications from the park seemed to be that gate figures were very good.
I'm not being cynical but a lot of this years figures would have been as a result of last years extensive social media presence and in my opinion I think the park would have had even more visitors if the marketing was as extensive as last year especially with the new coaster which wasn't pushed nearly as much as it should have been.
Yeah saw those. Some great memories of that ride. I remember it having a great atmosphere. Would love to ride the same ride today to see how clouded by nostalgia my memories of it are!
