Can't wait to see them again! With the group back together there will be much more scope to have parades and photo opportunities around the park. Woody is iconic, of course, but it's got to be easier to keep a crowd of people entertained when a group of characters can interact with one-another.

OMG..... Please bring back the GIANT chair! XD

Oh, and also, is anyone slightly concerned at how these guys may now look....?

I think Ben once said that he wanted to have a show on a little podium in that open space where the carousel was. Stuff like that would be great to get the atmosphere around the park buzzing again.

Yeah, I was just thinking I wonder of the costumes have changed.
It's a pity most kids wont know who they are... lol although their pictures have been around the park on various things still.

I don't ever remember a giant chair, but I do remember the parade, some kid used to be put into a birds cage and carried around lol

I wonder of they will do 'official' photo shots with the characters.. at a price. (im sure they used to do this)

Hang one, wasn't the giant chair in the main street gift show????

I was just wondering where you were talking about where you scare kids with Daleks and the Matt Smith thing?  Just out of general interest.

Can I just say how excited I am:

I met Woody and Clarence at the age of 5, didn't have much understanding of who or what Clarence was, over the years I have believed it was a one off party thing, however over these last 2 to 3 years I found out it was Clarence.

When they return, my mission will be to meet Ronnie, and yes I do believe Woody, Clarence and Ronnie should have a mini show, preferably at the start and end of the park day, allowing people within costumes to get a drink, have a wee, move to a new changing spot, so they can do the show, and escape fairly easily.

However my best memory was Woody saying farewell to guests on a little park bench (Picnic bench) he sat on it and would hug and say farewell, i personally loved woody and still to this day have nothing against him!!!!

Play the game, Bubbles! bleh

As adults we all know the reality! However, like many others, I've got really clear childhood memories of Woody, Clarence and Ronnie and I've still got a genuine fondness for the characters now. It will be great to have them back, and i'm sure they will go down well with kids of today as well as evoking memories in the minds of kids of the 80's and 90's.

Kids love costume characters. My little girl loved Woody when she saw him last year - I can't wait for her to see Clarence and Ronnie too.

I know all about that, we terrify enough kids with Daleks, we had one kid who thought they met the 'real' Matt Smith.. it was awesome.

You were talking about 'costume characters' and how much kids love them...sounded if you were implying I don't know this due to my previous comments about Woody being 'out of costume' which I was obviously joking, So I'm now saying is that I know all about kids and their love for 'costume characters' because we do it all the time. I know how much kids love seeing their favorite 'characters'

As I kid I always preferred Clarence and Ronnie. Always felt sorry for them as Wood would hog the spot light and was the favourite. lol
I which I still had the post cards of the three of them. Also not happy that someone stole my photo of me and Woody.. :(

Use to love seeing that drive around the town :D

The Woody-Mobile - I've got some photo's of that in the archive I've collated. Will post this week. I've had chats about getting it back, but at present that idea is very much a low priority. Although I would love it! Ha! :)

I remember they used to drive that down Yarmouth seafront with Woody waving from the roof. That was great!
