Pleasurewood Hills 30th Birthday 2nd June 2013

From the facebook event:

"This year we're celebrating 30 years since Woody and Joe Larter got together to create Pleasurewood Hills!

We have lots planned including an amazing parachute attempt from Woody Bear, street party, parade and some surprises too!"

Looking forwards to it!

Sounds good, about a month before my 30th.
From what I can tell Woody's friends might return... that's awesome.

Think me and mother may go that day. She has great memories of the 80s and early 90s of the American way...

Ben will there be a timetable of events released before the day ? as will be a shame to miss woody parachuting in etc...

^ No.

Guest 1 pays: £19
Guest 2 pays: £2.50
Guest 3 pays: £19
Guest 4 pays: £2.50
Guest 5 pays: £19
Guest 6 pays: £2.50

You get the point...

I understand it as:

Even number of people:

Person 1 = £19
Person 2 = £2.50
Person 3 = £19
Person 4 = £2.50
...and so on

Odd number of people:

Person 1 = £19
Person 2 = £2.50
Person 3 = £13.50

Capiche? It's fairly simple although I did struggle with the idea of Hobs Pit opening on 2 separate days!

Martyn/Matt correct with the how it works :)

Coolskin, we're getting big posters made for around park and facebook for the times etc

FYI - Woody will be parachuting in at 11am if all goes to plan :)

I didn't read that bit, but I kind of see what you mean. The main blurb explains it a little more clearly. Maybe the small print should say "One guest will pay £19, the next will pay £2.50. Pricing continues in this way for as many guests in the party..."

That's what it says, one guest pays 19 and the rest pay 2.50 for how many guests and in the party.

I've managed to persuade my parents to join me on 2nd June to the park. They used to take us every summer during the glory years and when they last went (year 2000 I think) they were so disappointed with how the park was and they haven't been since. So I'm really hoping that they enjoy the park as they will see it for the first time in over a decade; plus I now have built in babysitters for my little girl :)

I've managed to talk Zero people in attending. So if you see a chap wondering around on his own, looking confuzzled and lonely it will probably be me. Although there is still time....

I love those boards, much better that what I expected. In all honesty I think I imagined a notice board with some photos pinned to it :?

Taken from todays Waveney Advertiser towards the back of the paper after the housing supplement I think it was...  ( 24-5-13 )

I do hope this is also in other advertisers across the region.....
