John Wardley, creator of Nemesis and the man who brought 'theme' parks to Britain, has written an autobiography of his life. It's available for £9.99 on Amazon and looks like it might be a really interesting read!
£6.17 on Kindle. I downloaded it today and starting reading it. I'm about a quarter of a way through and I must say it grabs you from the get go. What I didn't realise is John spent a lot of time visiting his uncle and aunt who lived in Suffolk and he spent a number of Summers in Great Yarmouth working the theatres and Pleasure Beach etc. It makes for a very interesting read and the fact that its set locally adds to it. Really great so far and if I didn't have work in the morning I'd probably read it all right now.
Finished John's book. It is fantastic and well worth the read. My only gripe is that I would have liked it to have gone a bit deeper into the theme park section and that it ended. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
