I can just imagine a really eerie/pirate style music being played on Jolly, then when the ride starts to go up, the music turns really dramatic, then just before it drops, a disturning laugh comes through the speakers....yes!
that would be brilliant
for the video link - in the descirption you could put timing links for when each new song starts - song at 9:46 is really nice ( having that song playing around the park -not sure where- would be so nice)
once the songs are collected you could have them all on a PWH CD soundtrack to sell in the shop ha

Hows about at the castle? Via the new EV (Electro_Voice) PA speakers I spotted them installing..
But some great music there Ben!

Super excited! I'm trialing the type of music I want to have permemnatly at the main entrance. It's only a 10minute loop - But it's a start! Would be great if one of you wanted to pop up to main entrance to hear it?
Themed music can be a real winner, Disney have properly perfected that.
It would be great if PWH could start introducing music around the park, and on certain rides.

One place where music (and the odd bubble machine) would suit is the kiddies area. So many rides, so many people it would finish it off nicely. A few speakers in the ground or whatever.
Listened to little bits just now - I like it... It's very Disney or Alton Towers like... A proper suite of music for the entrance that people will remember and recognise. Need to listen to a bit more later to really get a feel though.
I think the first piece is really suited to the tightly-packed kids area. It makes you feel like you are exploring a magical, brightly coloured place with lots going on.
The second is very much entrance music, I agree. Grand, brash and exciting.
I thought the 4th piece had an epic, fantasy film feel to it, or perhaps a "swashbuckling pirate adventure". My first thought was the pirate ship area, but this seems a little OTT for that. Something more simple and light hearted (like the music in TotC) would probably be more suited to that.
The rest were a little less specific in my opinion... Ideal for playing in the background to set the scene, but not overly striking for other uses.

yep good suggestion - probably would work better there
Entrance music is now always on - changed slightly from the original score posted here. We're looking into placing themed music throughout Kiddie Zone. :)
Only just got round to listening to this. The first piece is very a creepy/mystery style piece, similar to what's played on the Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris, and would only suit some kind of 'dark' style attraction (not Hobs Pit).
Second piece, again, it's perfect for the entrance area in the morning. Dont think it would have the same affect being played when the park's closing/people are leaving.
I know this seems strange - I always put the music on when I get in from 8am and turn it off most nights as I leave around 5:30ish. Sometimes, I think when I'm not there, the music gets turned off when they close the booth's...
