PWH Animals

Found this trawling through....

All the animals are leased to the park ( which has always been the case ) but I notice the parrots are not mentioned as being kept at the site...

Interesting you should bring this up as I found the site of the company that provide the parrots and sea lions only yesterday. They also provide them for TV shows and films including the excellent 90s kids TV show Harry's Mad!!

Was the questioner trying to catch PWH operating illegally?

Not sure Josh - The sealions have always lived there all year round since they were introduced but the parrots are kept off site it seems over winter.

Wonder how much the lease is per animal per season/year

The Sea Lion show really is a great attraction for PWH. I bet it's an expensive attraction for them to run. Definitely worth it though.

Weird to hear that they rent the animals.... seems like a waste of money to me. Unless it doesn't cost much obviously...

RE: PWH Animals

It's at times like these, we need Reece on here, as he did something for the company which involved him working with the animals.
