RE: New for 2013: Hobs Pit

Say, when Reece went up to PWH a few days ago, he didn't happen to see anything in enigma's pit did he...

Do we think this relates to the work that was going on in the Main Street shop or does "Pit" suggest that Enigma is involved? On hovering over the image on the main website, I notice it has been labelled as "Scare Ride 2013" but do we know any more than this at this stage?

PS: Like the name in writing but can't help hearing "Hob Spit" when I say it out loud!

Yeah FF seems like the perfect candidate plus Enigma had nothing going on in Reece's pics!

My money is on Tales of the Coast. But YAY, PWH is finally getting a haunted house attraction! I hope it's uber scary!

And where is that image coming up? I cant see it on the website....

Yay! Finally sounds like something to be excited about, admittedly I've been so bored with Pleasurewood recently, hearing about all the kids rides they've been getting... the "Will you escape?" bit gives me hope! :D

There is ONE small thing that I'm a little worried about, and that is Tales of the Coast.

That too was original and took on a different kind of story line, and it ended up being turd. I'm concerned that this *may* follow suit. Or you never know, it may be very, very good?

I just hope it scares me, and has lots of jumpy moments through out!

Maybe Hob is related to Stitch in some way?

I doubt there's a connection, but who knows.....

I'm really looking forward to this, especially if it is in the FF building. Tales of the Coast is definitely in more need of a refurb, but the FF ride type definitely suits a huanted attraction, with many hidden corners for things to jump out from!

I hope that all the bits inside FF are kept or something... i know the infamous head fall off display has been a joke for a few seasons but they are some nice displays inside there... Did anyone ever get a pic of the headless thing in there ? me and my mates use to get out of the FF cars and push them round - man they use to spark !!!

Do you really think it's wise to mention stuff like that on here, when we have PWH officials as members.....?

LOL! Surely they had cameras in there so you could be apprehended and thrown out of the park upon exit?

Lauro, I have a question which I am sure you can ask.

Hobs Pit, is this being made in-house, or is an outside company making the props/theming?

Im guessing its a Tales of the coast revamp. I think the pit idea would work in the tunnel. Surely the outside would need theming aswell though.

I know the Fairy Tale ride is very old and im guessing in a state of disrepair - does this mean its beyond saving?

I am really intrigued by this - i just hope PWH have the gutts to have a truly scary ride for older riders! They did very well with the haunted castle and then shut it down cos it was too scary!

Yes the haunted castle was truly utterly scary..shame theres no pictures or even video footage...

If its a tales of the coast revamp livewire i will be gobsmacked

The floor in this picture leads me to think that it's indoors. And before we even knew anything, coolskin said that it reminds him of part of the main street shop...

It's being made in house with the help of many external companies for specific parts; some from very far afield!

I doubt that very much tbh.

Though in saying that, I dont think there is another 'mega' ride planned.
