http://www.towersstreet.com/talk/index.php?topic=1109.msg31315#msg31315 So Camelot is officially closing apparently... Would Knightmare suit PWH? Another Schwarzkopf I know, but it seems highly regarded.

Its not official yet, the news came from Pete on UKRides (PeteA on here).
But yeah, Andy's right, there's really not much there that's worth anything. Whirlwind would be my first choice, and if all this is true, I'd really, really like to see PWH go for it.
Knightmare is an odd one. Whilst it is a good ride, its butt ugy, and HUGE, it takes up SO much space! And I dont think Camelot do own it. IIRC they lease from this guy who owns it, and going by what was said a couple of years ago, the coaster already has a new home lined up.

One of the two would be great for PWH - though I see Knightmare being a bigger draw. However, this is possibly just because enthusiast sites seem to love it xD.
Not only should PWH go for Whirlwind, they should also go for the Big Apple coaster they had at Camelot:
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, PWH needs a proper little kiddy coaster like this. It would fit a treat in the new kids zone area of the park.
I just think the park really needs a proper little coaster for kids to enjoy. Snake in the Grass is waaay too intimidating for little ones, especially with how loud it is. My little neice (6) still refuses to go on it, yet she loves the Big Apple coasters!
Whirlwind is perfect but my goodness it looks bloody awful! Galvanised fencing really makes a ride look ****. Would need a proper installation and theme to be acceptable in my opinion. As a ride though looks great fun.
Lots of small things could fill up our empty spaces.... the live band was on the former hungry bears site for fireworks 2012 - and we all know how we hate that spot for how awful it looks - i mean anything from Camelot would look better than that space..........
^ I dont know actually..... the only proper thrill/flat ride they had was one of them horrible Evolution rides (see GYPB), and I can safely say that I do not want PWH getting of them!
Though in saying that, if I remember correctly, Camelot had one of the nice 'Wagon Wheel' ferris wheels, that would be well suited for PWH. Found it:
I take that back actually, it looks ghastly and is just so small, and kind of pointless. I'd like to see Pleasurewood get a wheel, but a proper one.
Oh, and they had one of them flying balloon rides:
Would be ok but we already have something similar.
A couple of the kids rides that I would have liked to see at PWH have found a new home, with 3 rides confirmed for the 3 Gullivers parks:
Big Apple coaster is going to the Warrington park:
The balloon flight ride is going to the Milton Keynes park:
And the triple waterslide is going to the Matlock Bath park:
Obviously the slides wouldn't have been any good for PWH, but the top 2 would have really suited our little park (a lot more than some of the other kiddy crap they bring in!)
Skyline Park are installing a MS spinner for this season, and according to RCDB it's believed to be Whirlwind from Camelot.
:(
It certainly was Camelot's as confirmed in MaureSohne newsletter on their website. Skyline have made it look really nice with a clean and tidy but themeless look.
