Anyone on here been to the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland?
If you haven't, you should. Its pretty special (by British standards), and it's possibly the closest thing we'll ever get to an Oktoberfest style event.
A lot of the rides come over from the European fair circuit, and no doubt one day we will see something big like Olympia Looping/Alpina Bahn come over (could even be this year ;) ).
There hasn't been any real outstanding rides as of yet, but its still a very neat place, and the European fair rides are pretty funky, especially the Fun Houses, Ghost Trains, and even the Pirates Adventure dark ride!
I'll be heading down again for the second year in a row, and I have my fingers crossed that the rumoured 'big' coaster shows up!

That Starflyer is goinb HUGE! Idividual seating will probably add an extra edge to it as well....
Yeah, I've never followed the build up like I have this year, but if you look at the pics on the links I post, you'll see all the pics this guy takes (like 100 each day), and it's amazing just how much effort goes into getting all this put together. There's so much actual building work going on which seems crazy as its only a 6 week event.
I can understand why the rides are so expensive now. Still will only go on a few though... might have to sell the car otherwise...
