Hunstanton - Trip Report

It seems to be a tradition for us to spend one summer evening each year at Hunstanton. I must say, I quite like the place, it has this nice charm to it. It has a bit of tack, but not too much. Its just a pleasent place really. Their 'Pleasure Beach' isn't really upto much though.

Seems to be a tradition for us to eat here each time too. Nice enough place really, big portions which is always a winner.

Despite visiting annually, I didn't have the cred, until now of course!

Official entrance!

This thing look insane! Not a chance of getting me on that!

The ususal seaside guff...

I tthink this was new for this year (or last), it looked to be in a lot better condition than the most of the rides...

Every seaside fun fair HAS to have a Ghost train

It had quite a few rides for a typical 'grotty seaside fair', add a couple more and it may be worth them offering wristbands, as its pretty pricey with most rides being £2-3 each.

Trading standards need to get word on the pier... it doesn't even reach the beach, let alone any water!

So, all in all, I really like Hunstanton, its like a cross between Yarmouth (amusements etc) and Cromer (ye olde buildings and quite small).
