Didn't someone say the cars should be used a trolley or something? ;)
or used as planters.. lol or fixed to another ride?
If it's going to cost a fortune then that money is better spent on something new, that will last. TTT is quite old isn't it, more so that you can't buy the bits for it anymore (hence the price)
Hope for a awesome Halloween to bring in some pennys.

Forgot to post Saturday that Heart FM East Anglia were on the park Saturday - there was a brief mention or two live on air. Have checked the website and there is no photos as yet
Wow, great publicity to have victories for 'best value' and 'most improved' them park in the UK (and second in the world!), as well as the 2nd best new ride in the UK (behind the obvious 1st place).
Hopefully the good results continue next year and are reflected in attendance figures!
It's a great testament to the strides PWH have taken especially this last season which has been markedly different in terms of how things are done at the park. There is certainly more focus on customer experience than there has been in recent years and that shows in TA scores and the vast improvements on the social media side if things.
PWH just Facebooked a post saying that 2014 will be there biggest year to date. After 2013 being as awesome as it was I think we have a lot to be excited about next year.
not sure this was ever posted but some interesting facts in this piece....
The freehold at Pleasurewood Hills went under the hammer at Andrew Scott Robertson auctioneers in London yesterday( sep 24th ) but its asking price was not met. It is hoped for further interest in the coming days.
The site, between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth, is currently let to Pleasurewood Hills Ltd – part of global private equity investment firm HIG – on a 25-year lease until May 2025 at an annual rent of around £140,000, just over half of which is payable to Waveney District Council under a 99-year lease agreed in 1980.
General manager Alexis Camelin said: “Pleasurewood Hills is not for sale as a business nor is it for sale as a theme park. The investment opportunity presented by the sale of the free hold and the takeover of the head lease (lease hold) reside in the rent payable by Pleasurewood Hills to the landlord. Since the Looping Holding Group took over in 2011, heavy investment has taken place in refurbishment and in numerous new attractions.
“This is only a start with further investment and new rides being part of the 2013/14 winter plan, in time ready for the 2014 season.”
The theme park celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, and has recently completed a turnaround in finances from a £660,480 loss to £67,222 profit.
Yes I remember this article. £140,000 is lower than what I would expect for annual rent. Although it just goes to show the type of money they need to make , plus electricity, water, gas, ride maintenance and staffing the overheads must me a fair whack every year!
It's a bloody incredible feat of business to take the park from a £600k loss to a £60k profit in literally about 2 seasons.
It makes me happy to know the place is in damn good hands, who know what they are doing and get it to make money. If it carried on in the vein of the loss-making years we probably wouldn't have a park anymore.
I wonder how these profits are compared to similar parks?
Pretty damned good I think... Pleasure Island was featured on The One Show this year and basically stated how if they didn't have a good season they would probably be out of business, so I doubt there's any money being made there. There's not a lot else left that's on the small scale of Pleasurewood tbh - Camelot went bust and Lightwater (although bigger) don't ever seem to have any money to invest any more.
I think PWH is probably in better shape than other small parks tbh.
60k seems like a small amount, I didn't realise the profit margins on theses parks was so small.
Plus that money most likely will get invested back onto the park. I hope they can keep it up.
