I went to the Beach Volleyball on Saturday, it was fantastic. Although I was in the second row from the back and didn't get a great view of the action the horse-shoe shape of the stadium provided fantastic views over London. The atmosphere was also spectacular. When the competitors took a time out a group of dancers came onto the pitch and did multiple dance routines, including a conga which prompted the crowd to begin their own conga line up and down the stairs. There was also the rakers who came on with the Benny Hill theme tune, when this happened two members of the crowd got out of there seats and ran around the stadium recreating the famous opening scene.
Sounds cool, I love the Olympics, especially getting televised sports like badminton, hockey etc that you wouldn't normally see. The BBC coverage (despite the cycling on day 1) is fantastic and 24 HD streams is phenomenal!
