So I went up to the hills today and it was completely deserted! We walked onto rides and even had to wait for more people to come along so we had enough to run the ride!
First up Tales of The Coast. This ride really needs sorting out! The wolf had no eyes, the music was out of sync and the doors were pinned back also no change on the ouside of the tunnel. The sinage outside is pealing.
Secondly, Wipeout. I am pleased to say that it is now running at full capacity but the train is looking tired and the lettering is pealing of the front of the car.
The jolly roger next. once again no que, great ride but about 3:30 the ride shut and workmen went up on the decking above the ride car, i dont know what they were doing but they defiently wern't putting the flag up!
The Tide Travveler has made no progress and is exactly the same as the pictures from the reveiw it was given.
In the center of Timber Falls there was a water fountain which i hadn't noticed before but the one from the lake had gone. maybe they relocated it.
As you alreddy know ponies had hay! also the halloween house was still there and there was no change to the SITG tunnel.
Enigma had some scaffolding around the lift hill and some sinage at its entrance saying its under matinance but no major change.
Now Sean Alexander! The show had many, many technical hitches! Firstly the curtian wouldn't shut/open, the microphones wern't working and one of the angels forgot to come on. this all resulted in one of the tricks being missed out but all in all a pretty good show.
Quite a few nice little improvements around the park but still alot of areas of improvement! also i would like to say how great the staff members were. The SITG operator made us cheer, wave and he pulled silly faces ect.
Gererally i had a good day but the park is still miles away from all the others!

Thanks for the report and the photos Hpeek. It's a shame to see the park so empty but it's early in the season and the weather wasn't great. Nice to hear the staff were good fun. Hopefully there will be some nice busy days ahead for the park, and once all the rides are open PWH should be buzzing. I must say I am loving the colour of TT- it looks great. As for Tales of the Coast - the problem with a ride like that is with all the effects it has to be maintained, for a park like PWH it really needs to be simple, stripped back and low maintenance.
Secondly, Wipeout. I am pleased to say that it is now running at full capacity but the train is looking tired and the lettering is pealing of the front of the car.
Thats more like it, and very significant as far as i'm concerned. Were they releasing the restraints manually still?
The cameras have been moved to the other side of the track. Also beneath the track one of the matinence rooms had be themed as a surf hut with a sign on the door saying 'gone surfin'. hadn't seen this before so maybe its new?

^yes, only one car at a time! Wipeout should have automatic release installed and maybe the loading gates on the station to speed up the painfully slow loading!
