I am a professional Theme park traveller..travelling the worlds theme parks.....and I can honestly say that Pleasurewood Hills is a complete and utter Sh*t Hole and a disgrace to the industry. When I attended last week Half of the rides were closed from those advertised and those that were open needed a bloody good lick of paint. Food over priced for what you got...when you consider for the entrance fee of £18 per adult compared to somewhere like Walt Disney World in Florida for a daily fee of £24 gaining you entrance to 4 theme parks and two water parks...this makes Pleasurewood Hills a laughing stock for what you get for your money in comparison.
I think the best thing that could happen with Pleasurewood Hills is that the entire site be bulldozed and started from stratch again. A badly laid out park, badly staffed by cheap labour youngsters with no knowledge of the parks ammenities when asked by customers where certain attractions or ATMs were etc. Badly presented park. Having not been for many years...especially when you look back at photos from the 80's where the paint and attractions were good and flower beds full and a packed park... Also where have all the large decent rides gone from years gone by?.....now its merely a park for only small kiddies with small kiddie rides....and as to the fact that every 500yds is an attraction thats trying to get more cash out of you like the speedway cars and fairground "win a teddy" stalls....it makes for a very expensive and disappointing day out. I will not be reccommending that people attend....in fact they'd do themselves a favour to stay away and save their money until this park has got its act together and starts offering value for money.

I sorry but you have no right to talk about our theme park like that! you cannot after one visit call it a s*** hole and say it should be bulldozed! you clearly aren't a 'professional Theme park traveller' because nothing about you language or comments was in the slightest bit proffesional. my 5 year old cousin is more unprofessional than you! if you have nothing better to do than to offend our local park then go ahead, we all here at unofficial pleasurewood know how wrong you are and how utterly ridiculous and childish you are being! The fact that you cannot even state your name shows you clearly know you are wrong and you have nothing to back you up on your uttery damright rude statements

I would suggest that the term "professional" has been used inappropriately in this situation! I wouldn't agree that the poster does not have the right to post their opinion, however the content of their post is lacking in hard facts and full of generalisations.

What made me laugh the most was comparing the daily entrance price of PWH, to the cost of of a 14 day Walt Disney World ticket, then dividing it by 4 parks, and dividing it again by 14 days! Yeah, lets not bother comparing it agains't the $100 daily entrance fee, plus $15 to park!

Can't disagree too much with the first bit of the above, but nearly every theme park is full of game stalls and pay extra attractions. Its a good revenue source.

thanks matt! that was basically what i was trying to say! it just made me flip slightly as pleasurewood hills is something i am passionate about and i don't enjoy seeing it slaughtered!
^ Dont be a fanboy. We're 'fans' on here, not fan boys. If we think the park is doing something wrong, we say it, we dont hide behind everything wearing rose tinted glasses.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, regardless of how ridiculous it is!
I get the feeling its just Patrick being an idiot, again.
All this seems very similar to that nonsense we had in the Jolly Roger thread AGES ago, remember the "PA" to the councillor who was working on PWH case?
quite far, most members off staff know where everything is, the staff are always friendly and willing to help, there even up for a bit of a laugh, i like Anonymous's name tho can i change my username to it? XD , but PWh is light on game stalls compared to some theme parks where you turn around and theres a shop or attraction which wants money out of you.
