none of these complaints are anything new. Cant help but think maybe a kfc/pizza hut/bk franchise may help things. I doubt there will be much response as we dont get any now either
The castle being dark I totally agree with, and I understand that a baby needs to be changed yet on the floor ? I would have walked round the corner and used the proper facilities - however for how long the toilet block has been in main street grub shop there should be one added.
Thing is people read all these reviews and it will put people off
I disagree with the castle being dark! I myself do allot of theatrical lighting and know just how bad it is to try and light an alreddy light theatre! It looks nicer if you can only just see where your going!
Within the last hour, there's been another complaint:
Just back from pwh and I must say I am highly disappointed. The entry fee is ridiculously over priced for the 3 rides that are so called thrill rides. There's nothing there for adult fun and I would of had much more fun at Gt Yarmouth pleasure beach. I certainly won't be returning anymore.
I don't agree with more fun at Yarmouth - there has been no real investment there for years -
PWH should be at least doing £15 or less entry and extra come back tickets or more - having thunderstruck and enigma out is a joke - i think 2012 is going to be tough - it has started very very badly - i really feel that we are out on our own here - what seemed like great communication with the park initially has completely gone we do our best on here and in person to support the park yet I have to admit I am now unsure if I can not disagree with these comments
This guy sais adult fun... well as I have said two rides are out yet what do others think for adult rides ?
Thing is the entry fee is a charge for the whole experience - thrill, family and other rides plus the shows, etc not just "3 rides". This applies to all parks not just PWH.
Are Wipeout, Fireball and JR not 'adult' thrill rides. Yes...., yes they are. Aside from Evolution i'm sruggling to think of genuine 'adult' thrills at GYPB. Rollercoaster, Sky Drop are decent i suppose but hardly flying off the thrill scale.
But yeah its been a shocking start to the season.... someone i know went over Easter with his family and got a full refund after complaining. How many times has that occured over the opening weeks?
Agree with all you said Andy. Thing is andy complaints or no complaints the park never learns.....it has always been the same since the mid to late 90's....... People talk to people etc etc....
Its not like there has even been any specific apolgy online from them and NO updates on what is and isnt open
The lack of updates is a worry as last season we had them near enough daily. I guess its not concidered good business practace to say "this is how crap we are today" which is basically the situation when you have at least 2 of your biggest rides out of action. When my workmate went he said the Big Train wasn't working and the Chairlifts were also down for a good while. There is barely enough charaters on Twitter to fit that much info on an update.
How much worse would it have been if the winter weather had been bad, preventing more work being done?
I must say the lack of communication from the park does not bode well. PWH need to let guests know when rides are out of action. How are PWH screwing up burgers for crying out loud? Rent out one of the units to McDonalds and be done with it. I was going to visit on Sunday but from what I am gathering the park is ill prepared and i really wanna rude Tude Traveller so I'm not gonna bother.
exactly josh - i think let a big name come in and do a franchise on one of the untis and see what it does - the park will still get cash from it - and takes the heat of them a bit- may even draw more people if a big fast food chain is on site

Pleasurewood Hills...... Hi guys, first of all I would like to offer our apologies for the disappointing time you had on the park. Thank you for all your comments, they really do help us to improve on areas that are not up to scratch and try to improve the positive aspects of the park. I have given all your comments to the catering supervisor and the attractions staff who will try to remedy any problems they can to avoid this kind of disappointment again.
Toni, regarding your phone call from a manager; I'm not sure who you spoke to but if you could send your complaint to info@pleasurewoodhills.com I can ensure it is processed properly through there.
