Paulton's Park 2012

Oh it's one of them towers is it. Yes I agree quite an odd theme if that is the ride. Impressive quality though, if of course the artwork truly reflects the final ride. I read PP are enjoying an increase in visitor numbers (no doubt due to Peppa Pig) so I would expect a nice quality attraction.

So Paulton's Park have released info on their new drop ride.  Not as tall as PWH's but I think the theming may blow it out of the water:

Whilst the theming does looks good, its a bit odd.

For example, thisi s the same theme that Fantasy Island went for with their S&S Space Shot, where you launch out of the volcano due to the force of the volcanic eruption. Makes sense, and is quite cool.

This however, you slowly climb the tower whilst rotating, and then bounce a few times! laughing

Having seen this ride today I must say the theming is very impressive. The ride itself is pretty tame to be honest nevertheless still good fun and a ride that the young kids can also ride. One thing I noticed about PP is that a lot of rides have a lower height limit if accompanied by an adult and a lot of rides have no height limit at all when riding with an adult which is great for the toddlers. There was a phenomenal amount for my little girl to go on!
