RE: Kiddie Drop Tower & Pony Trek ride - 2012

It does not look very big the course at PWH or is it because there is not a good enough picture ? lots of mud and puddles laying around.....

^ Not yet it hasn't, there's a recent picture on the previous page.

And I'm sure it will be the same lenght as it was in Scotland.

Footings for something brilliant!

Can only assume it's the base for the lighthouse!

^ Yes, possibly.

Anyone else think that the Pony Trek will be left unthemed?

i'm starting to think that! only 39 days to go and no signs of any theming... they could be theming it when they start work on the jolly roger... maybe sharing resources ?

With how much thats going on, you cant blame them for falling behind, if they have. But if they do, I'd rather they didn't just rush things to get them open, it would be better to get done properly and open up a bit late.

Looks really good too! Can see it through the trees from the entrance of the park.

Want want want....; but it'd look nice with some rocks/boulders around it, a small seaside theming attempt.

This area of the park should be excellent.

Noticed the new site calls the Pony Trek "Pleasurewood Ponies" - which sounds much catchier than whatever the name was before...

^Quote from Pleasurewood Pony's description on pwhills website

Gallop, jump and trot around the obstacles on the track until you reach the finish line

obstacles on the track- maybe hinting at horse jump theming like there was at Loundoun

From the picture on the park map and the photo from Loudon on the website, they are probably going for the same theming. Shame really as I think it looks pretty tacky. Some original scenery with more of a themed feel, rather than Newmarket, would have been better. Of course I am only assuming though. We'll see.

I guess we will have to see but if they don't do something that is remotely unique they are not capitalizing on this attraction.

Its the same layout I think. Hopefully they have put some turf over them gravel piles.

But like the Thunderstruck pic, we dont actually know when they're taken...
