RE: The 3 other new 2012 rides

I didn't mean it in a derogatory way about Schwarzkopf... I just meant that it makes it less likely for PWH to buy one as they already have a similar looking coaster in Enigma.

I think the only thing thats similar is the train really, and even that is about 4 times the size!

I would literally cry if PWH bought that beast! You dont come across a looping coaster with lap bars very often anymore!

Oh yeah, I'm not sure I've ridden a looping coaster with just lapbars. In fact I'm certain I haven't.

G Force at drayton manor has lap bars but they're really tight and hurt a bit.

Just been looking through Recce's facebook pics and I see that the pony trek track that was laid down has now been removed and all that can be seen is some large wooden posts in what will be the "control booth"

Can you link us to the page, or even better, post them on here? Right click on a picture, properties, copy the link, and paste here with the [img] brackets at either end .

That large station building also housed some of the queue. Wonder if they've actually bought that building too? Seems odd to relocate a wooden building!

I couldn't find the pic but remember those holes that we saw they would be the foundations for those poles.

Not many people about in them pics.......

Thinking about it, this area is going to be a nice 'strip' of kids attractions running from the playground to the vets.

I agree - i think its shaping up to be a nice addition. I mean if you look at Skeleton Cove at LWV - most of those rides are for kids but its still excellently themed. If PWH do this right it could be great!

I had to think what you were on about for a second there! (vets?wtf?)

Its obvious the track was only put up as a guide, and Sky Hooks will clearly be in the way, so no about it, they're moving.

BUT, I just feel this is too similar to the Vets...

I had to think about "vets" too. It is similar but kids will love it.

Them pictures have reminded me of something else that needs to be sorted, BADLY.

The bloody loading/unloading of the Chair Lift!

A shock with regards to the chairlift hmmm?

Is it going? (Unlikely if they've put the new red and blue things on each chair?) Apart from that what else?

Well, I have heard its going to be removed over winter as it has reached the end of its natural life, that and its too expensive to staff....

I wont reveal who said it yet it is a trusted source who has spent many years involved with the park that I am a friend of a friend of if you get me. Lets hope this is not true yet I fear it maybe....

Thinking about this little rumour of the chairlift being removed I do suppose that it might make some other rumours add up. Remember the original rumour about the drop tower? It also consisted of a caravan area at the bottom of the park where SITG currently resides. If the chairlift was removed it would be cutting off the transport link to that end, which would not be needed. Also we hear of a possible relocation of SITG.

The drop tower part of the rumour was true so maybe the caravan/accomodation part could be too?

Well clownslide is moving, the unit by the dodgems is no longer used, that leaves the dodgems which can be moved and please retheme then, rattlesnake well would it be worth relocating this ? The dinosoar park is all gone, the mini railway no longer goes that far that end so yes it really does seem that this area is being all cleared away.....and as for caravans ? Well what is this for ? What purpose ?

I have just thought the dodgems could go uo near tidalwave or even next to fireball or maybe rattlesnake would fit in ? Lots to think about.

I still want to believe in my (ridiculous) idea that a huge coaster could fill that end of the park up if it were emptied...

We can but dream.
