Personalising Member titles?

Is there anway of having the member titles changed, to fit in with PWH?

Currently they are:

  • New Member
  • Member
  • Veteran Member
  • Senior Member
  • Guru

As an example, Guru could be something like Woody Bear?

Just a thought...

Dont know yet!lol

You need to stick to a theme for all of them, so Woody probably wouldn't work as well. Maybe rides? Guru could be Wipeout, and New Member could be Kite Flyer?

Cool, I like your style! So let's have a think....

New Member = Kite Flyer
Member = Pirate Ship
Veteran Member = Snake in the Grass
Senior Member = Enigma
Guru = Wipeout

That's what it could be if you went with the ride theme. Maybe not clear enough though...can it have a visual representation also, like a star rating underneath or something?

OR, how about scrapping this idea, and having a 'favourite ride' option in your profile, which then shows up under your avatar?

Sorry, that facility doesn't exist in the software. Users can however include this information in their signature.

Let's get this list finalised then and i'll make the changes... It's easily changed in the future if a new ride comes along that "out-ranks" the current list.

I felt that a list of rides was a little to subjective... who's to say Timber Falls is superior to Enigma for example? This way it has a flavour of Pleasurewood to it whilst vaguely describing the various levels of membership.

Woody Bear, Sealions, Parrots, Rides and the park itself. Covered.

Has the number of post to 'qualify' for mates with marcus gone up to 10 post from 5?

I personally think the post count should change for these statuses.

I think it should be:

Woody Wannabe = Up to 49
Mates with Marcus = 50-99
Serious Squaker = 100-199
Enigmatic Expert = 200-499
Passionate about Pleasurewood = 500+

I think it is a little more evenly spread that way and it also means it take a bit more to work your way up. Just an idea. :)
