RE: New Castle Theatre Show

Only in the summer though. Suspect it will be just the two shows the rest of the year, although that is still 1 more than they did last year. Says they have done a refurb so hopefully they have replaced the seats!

Nope, every opening day he will be here with 3 shows. The Castle is still a bit messy atm, I'll take pictures at a later date.

^ With this having 3 shows per day, are they cutting back on the other shows?

The circus has obviously gone, but The Sea Lion and Parrot shows will be as normal.

Thank you. With this having 3 performances per day, I didn't know if they'd reduce the amount of performances from the other 2 shows, but thanks for clearing that up :)

Any chance of any photo's from around the park?

I must say that this is very exciting news. I just hope the marketing for the park will match the efforts with the new attraction and get as many people as poss to experience PWH!!

The new show is well overdue. Just hope them awful chairs ( ok they were once ok when I was a kid ) have been changed. You can not fit in them properly, well legs wise I mean. Too many chairs were removed for buggy/wheelchair space too

^ can't give my opinion on the chairs as have never been into the castle theatre! Every time I go to pwh never though to go and watch the show... Always thought that they would be rubbish, holiday rep type shows. Will defo go and see Sean!

^ to be fair despite the Sealions and Parrots being as old as some of the hills I do not think you can tire of seeing them. They are high quality shows. Also the circus show would have been so much better if the seating was better, sound and the whole haunted/crinkley theme had been completely gone. I hope with the things they have done inside means the outside will be painted, the bit as you walk in where the old "hollywood style" PWH logo still is badly needs taking down and repainting....

I also hope that they repaint the exterior again. I loved the look of it when it actually looked like a castle, now its just plain white!! And the same could be said for the exterior of the Parrot Show building, that badly needs some tlc asap too!

Just to correct myself form the other day. The 3 shows is based on summer opening hours. There will be 1 or 2 shows on other days depending on the amount of people in the park.

Ahhhhh Sean made this video... I'll have to let him know. We couldn't watch it in the office because our internet is far too slow. I'll let him know though, cheers guys.

the blundeston exchange from which your internet should come from as mine does too has been upgraded. im expecting up to twenty meg in the next couple of weeks so PWH should be able to get a decent  internet speed. I am with plusnet, maybe it is worth you asking management to check out better internet and phone services. one great tip to management would be for a mobile operator mast to go up somewhere as reception in the park is poor only due to location mainly, yet it would help more people check in etc and be more social media ishy etc

RE: The Confusionist - New Castle Theatre Show

Sean Alexander - quite a well thought out show, there was a bit of audience participation which was done, it felt very awkward though (perhaps more adult orientated than child).

So what was the actual audience participation like?
