Pirate Ship...

Slight complaint here... Was at the hills on Friday and the ride op on the Pirate Ship was pretty awful...

You know how it normally starts up, gets to full swing and then you get maybe 5 or 6 full swings at top height before it slows down again? Well this time, he let it go on for 25+ full swings before stopping - and only because two people on the ride looked like they were seconds away from throwing up. I think he let it run so long to spite a bunch of schoolkids on the ride who were messing him around a bit, but still - I've never felt ill from the Pirate Ship but did feel off whilst watching the sealion show afterwards because of it...

25 times, that's not a lot to be honest. You should be thankful you weren't on this

This probably sounds crazy, but to be honest, my stomach can easily handly anything a top spin can throw at it. I'd get dizzy on that with out a doubt, but I think I'd come off worse from the Pirate Ship.

Top Spins are painful though (for me anyway as I'm quite tall and they cane my shoulders) so 107 spins on that would be tough. The Pirate Ship though is a bit of a stomach churner I admit. The only thing I get sick on though is Teacups.

Me too Josh! Being 6ft 3, Ripsaw is painful! 107 spins is immense!

I'm 6'3" too, and I cant remember any pain on a Topspin. Though in saying that, its been a good few years since I last went on one.

I remember back in the day when I used to whore The Terminator at GYPB!

I once went on a parachuter with my dad at small dodgy fun fair in Kings Lynn. The operator went off for his tea - we were left on it for 15 minutes!
