This doesn't sound like good news...I hope no one fell out of the chairlift! Whatever happened I hope it wasn't serious for the sake of the people involved and the bad publicity that it would cause for the park.

I'm pretty sure the Kite Flyer being closed for an hour wont have anything to do with an incident on the Waveswinger.

Has it even opened yet?

I hope it's just a possible fainting or shock-type issue rather than a serious problem.

Nothing on the local newspaper website yet so it can't be that bad...

This is kinda freaky, as I went on one them Star flyers at the weekend, needless to say I papped myself. I mean, you go up 200ft, yet the chains are TINY, I mean tiny, thinner than my boney fingers. The chains on standard Waveswingers are a lot thicker. Anyway, enough of my traumatic experience...

yes the chairlift was closed for  a few hours this afternoon due to gusty winds , same as the wavecoaster was closed ,as for the kiteflyer being closed  for an hour, will this is not true the kite flyer was open all day, the ambulance called had nothing to do with any of the rides :)
