Name for the Drop Tower

Some of the names for rides at PWH are pretty awful. What are your suggestions for names for the new Drop Tower?

I'm thinking something like "The Plunge"

Advertising could be "Dare you take the plunge down the UKs tallest drop tower?" And plunge could also fit in with the nautical theme of the park - although I'm not sure the lilac colour will xD.

EDIT: Also, I think that (when they announce these plans) we should nag them on FB and Twitter to run a competition to name it!

As for the name...I would rather not have "drop" in the title at all as it suggests fairground. Apocolypse and Hurakan Condor are the types of names I like for drop towers. I chose The Descent as it's actually quite an intimidating name but as Martyn said let's not jump the gun!

Dominator.

Dictator.

Mega Drop : The Revenge.

Magum Drop - in assoiation with Walls Ice Cream. (It'd be a great chance for some revenue - a sponsor for the UK TALLEST DROP RIDE.)

RE: Name for the Drop Tower

Now we are beyond the speculation stage and the plans have been approved, has anyone got any other good ideas for names?

Knowing Pleasurewood, it'll probably be something like Drip Drop!

I tweeted them asking if we could have a naming competition on twitter now that the plans have been confirmed... will see what they say!

A naming competition would be good. If enough people enter someone may just pick the name that they already have in mind!

Always good press doing a competition. I remember when GYPB ran one for the Sky coaster "Devils Drop"....hmm, not a bad name really, is it?haha

I think they are passing on the name competition idea to the management according to there Twitter!

I like the idea of something dramatic such as "Abyss".

Yeah when I asked about the name competition they said:

"@lolscott You can certainly send in suggestions! I'll speak to the managers about a comp once we have some firm details about it."
