Presumably that's an undercoat before they paint it with some kind of new colours? The yellow was a bit bright after all...

I went today also. I did take my camera, but tbh there is not much in addition to the pics they post on Twitter etc, so i didn't take any.

Anyhow random remarks:

-Thunderstruck seemed to be running better, possibily slightly faster than i remember....

-Sky Hooks closed ( fence part painted )

-Fireball safety sign still reads 'Wizzy Dizzy'

-Timber Falls has saftey messages playing while you queue up - this strangly adds to atmosphere and feel more 'theme parkish'

however IMO the most significant development:

-Wipeout running with FULLY LOADED TRAINS.smile

Woah! That is great news about Wipeout, tell me is it still manual restraint release? I like the look of the repainted Parrot building, it looks really fresh.

WOW, full trains on Wipeout.... could be something to do with that restriction they applied to be lifted? Anyway, fantastic news!

And my god, just how old is that Parrot Show sign?lol I dont think any park in history has ever let a signed get SO bleached by the sun! They had better something about it I tell ya!

I did take my camera, but tbh there is not much in addition to the pics they post on Twitter etc, so i didn't take any.

omg. You kidding right? I'm still waiting for pics of the new play area, the rides opposite Wipeout, Timber Falls, new train station....!Grr!

Fireball safety sign still reads 'Wizzy Dizzy'

Did the entrance sign still read Whizzy Dizzy? You know, them green signs that they made for every ride when the names first changed.

Appears there is a new map this year... and some new shows in Main Street!

Also, whether the Laser thing is crap or not - it adds something else to the map - which we sorely need.

So what has actually happened to the strange Veteran Car ride?

And was the Carousel open?

I took pics of the play area last year!

The only ride opp. Wipeout is the Woodycopters and the old wooden play area (maybe thats the one you mean!?)

The new train station is simply some wood on the floor. Took my camera round on the train but very difficult to get a pic.

And yeah its the green sign with height limits etc that has not been changed.

I'm pretty sure that was about last year, at least near the end of the summer. They're a huge waste of money anyway hah!

Yes that was what I was on about. Good to see they kept that play area, though they really need a family ride like the Carousel or Waveswinger to sit opposite Wipeout.

The new train station is simply some wood on the floor.

Where is it? I imagine its down by the left side of the Castle? So the train now loops around the Castle?

When I went last year the new station was on the other side of the lake to where the path currently is...

^ Oh right, I thought it was re-routed to keep out of the woods?

Yeah... so it was being built just in front of the woods, next to the lake, almost directly under the chairlift.

So where does it then go from the new 'station'?

It loops round closer (but not right next) to the castle and joins the old track behind it. The station is a rather weak atempt tbh.

That's a shame, could be why they have suspended the idea for now. Hopefully, it means that greater plans are afoot.

It is very odd that it has all of sudden been dropped. I mean it was mentioned in the interview with Alexis when the park was sold a couple of a months ago, so it really has been a sudden decision to drop it.

Sometimes the seats can look occupied when the train is in motion but it is a shame that it is at full capacity :(

^ They've reponded on FB, so you weren't seeing things, kind of. They were filled with teddies apparently!

But, is it going to be sorted soon:

We've tracked down the answer for you.
It's because of a camera problem. The seats, that are filled with the cuddly toys, aren't aligned properly to the camera and people that wanted pictures weren't getting high quality pictures so we had to put the carriage out of use. Technicians are coming some time next week to try and solve the problem so we can start opening the full cart. Hope this answers your question.

Weird... wonder why it's taken so long to sort -that-.

Finally they are sorting out a lot of the small things. Running Wipeout at full capacity will be great. And that is quite amusing that they have teddies in the seats!
